These are in no particular order, for the most part. I tried to keep them sorted, but it didn't really happen. I apologize. If you actually read the whole thing, I'll be impressed.

---Music is a big part of my life. I sing all the time. I'm not one of those crappy can't-hold-a-note people-- I'm actually rather decent, though I lack formal training.
---I'm incredibly caring, and have opened my home to friends in need on several occasions. I've been robbed thrice because of this, however, so it's a less common occurrence now than before.
---I love to cook, but won't have anything to do with seafood. I'm always looking for new recipes to try or change up.
---I go to anime conventions when I get the chance, and various friends and I go to drumming circles out in Adams County every summer. They are both excellent places to be, full of great people.
---I'm really not a gamer, but many of my friends are.
---I have my own car. It may have even been a nice car at one time, and it runs, but that's about all I can say for it. I try to do upkeep on it when I can afford to, but it's really a money pit. I'm trying to learn more about it, so I can repair more of it myself. I do love driving, though, so it helps with that much, at least. Road trips are awesome, and if I could afford it, I'd do those more often!
---I read, constantly. Anything and everything. You'll rarely see me without a book. I can't write for shit, though.
---I live on my own, and have been for three years now. I've had my ups and downs, but I really enjoy the freedom.
---I have four cats, none of which I intended on having, but I wouldn't give them up for anything. Two were strays (though obviously owned prior to becoming strays) and two were unwanted by previous owners. Four is the cut-off, though-- no more than this.
---I do plan to move into a bigger place than my current apartment, once my lease is up, so at least there will be more space.
---I don't smoke, but don't mind it. I even own a hookah, though one of the cats decided the hoses would make excellent chew toys, so I need to replace them. I do drink, but am rather a lightweight. I enjoy it nevertheless!
---I was adopted when I was five days old. I was never told the circumstances, though I'd love to find out everything I can, and the sooner the better!
---I was born in Staten Island, NY, and still have extended family in and around the area. I try to go back and visit when I get the chance, but it's been difficult lately. I also lived in Puerto Rico as a small child. Then we moved to Norwich, NY, and then to Cincinnati. My folks have lived in three different houses in the Cincinnati area. My dad works for P&G, so we moved a lot when I was younger.
---My folks are hardcore Irish Catholic and quite conservative, dad's side more than mum's. I'm, as a result, really atheistic and liberal, so we don't get along terribly well.
---I hate people who follow things blindly, like sheep. Think outside the box! Be original, be creative! Trends and religions can't be counted upon to always be there for you.
---I get along with almost anyone, but I can't tolerate disrespect, ignorance, or lack of common sense. If this is you, move on.
---My close friends are more like family to me than anyone else. I make it a point to keep in touch with them, and hang out, whenever we have the chance.
---If you cannot accept homosexuality, transgenderism, and other choices as deserving full and equal rights, I guarantee we will not work. It really, really helps if you're more of a liberal thinker, because we've all taken more liberal paths.
---I have a morbid sense of humor. All of my friends do, as well. If dead baby, Helen Keller, racist jokes, or anything of that same type offend you, please, for everyone's sake, move on. We will not get along. If you have, however, got some that I haven't heard, please tell me!
---On the same note, I don't censor myself. I cuss. Often. And loudly. I make an effort for children and parents that need to be impressed, but that's it.
---I can, conversely, be the sweetest and most polite person ever, if need be. It's unnerved more than a few people. I was raised that way, and can slip back to it if absolutely necessary, but I find it revolting.
---I went to a Southern Baptist boarding school in Virginia for half of my junior year and all of my senior year of high school. It was okay there. I met great people and I met crappy people. If you ask about it, I'm happy to talk, but it's more than I want to put here. Before that, I attended public school. And before that, I went to a Catholic elementary. My education's been all over the place.
---I took two years each of Spanish and Japanese in high school, and managed to forget more than I like. I'm trying to brush back up on it, though!
---I love staying up late. I feel more productive when it's dark. I hate waking up really late and feeling like I've wasted a whole day, though. But, rarely do I enjoy waking up before noon. I know it doesn't make much sense, but if you get to know me better, you'll understand eventually.
---I am a firm believer that if you burn a steak, you've ruined the meat.
---I'm a total procrastinator. I put things off until literally the very last minute.
---I'm really simplistic and low-maintenance. I'm easy-going and able to adjust quickly.
---I don't need a lot of money to have fun, nor do I expect you to have a lot of money.
---Because I don't have a lot of money, I expect you to be able to support yourself, as I cannot afford a mooch.
---I am incredibly arachnophobic. I've been known to kill spiders with like, a shoe or a spray, but I prefer to not deal with them. And bees freak me out. Snakes are awesome.
---I'm really not athletic.
---I can be incredibly spontaneous, and I can also be meticulous about planning things.
---I love flying, or being on a boat, or just traveling in general. Nothing's more exhilarating than the possibility of getting away from things, even just for a little while. Getting stuck in traffic is one of the most irritating things, to me.

Right now, I'm taking time off of school (pre-pharmacy degree) to work full-time. It's a second shift job, which doesn't leave a lot of room to go out and have fun, but at least I'm saving up some cash!

Many people have told me I've got really striking eyes. They're really a combination of colors-- there's green, brown, sometimes blue, all different shades.

I'm most recently a fan of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice And Fire series. Other favorite authors include, but are not limited to (and in no particular order), Tolkien, Mercedes Lackey, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Charlaine Harris, Stephen King. Mostly fantasy, though I have about ninety manga sitting on a shelf as well. My shelves also include a copy of Seumas MacManus's The Story Of The Irish Race and Growing and Using Healing Herbs by Gaea and Shandor Weiss, among others.

I really don't watch many movies, to be honest. I did love Across The Universe, August Rush, Pan's Labyrinth, Trainspotting, Watchmen, Serenity, Boondock Saints, Religulous, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Moulin Rouge, RENT, A Clockwork Orange. (More will be added as I come up with them.)

As far as shows go, however, I like True Blood, Grey's Anatomy, Weeds, Californication, Dr. Who, Torchwood, Firefly, and CSI:NY.

I'll listen to any music except for most country and rap-related things. I'm more into techno, new-age, or something I can sing to. I know at least a dozen songs in Japanese, among others. My tastes are really all over the place, for the most part.

I love Italian, Chinese, and Indian food, and I'll try almost anything at least once!

Air, water, food, clothing, soap, and the ability to hear things. I've gone without power, or a phone, or internet, or a car, or money, and while it sucks, it's not the end of the world. Those things are luxuries, things many people go without their entire lives. My two concessions to luxury are soap and my hearing. I'd rather be blind than deaf the rest of my life, because I really don't know if life would be worth living without music. And I shower at least once a day. On bad days, showering twice is not unheard of, for me. I'm not OCD or anything, I just enjoy feeling clean.

you don't horribly abuse the English language in any of its forms. If you can't even take the time to type (or speak) correctly, then I've got no use for you.
