My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Whenever I do online surveys I tend to qualify as more introvert than 99 % of the population. So I am, as they say, a good listener. I also tend to come off as composed and accepting (which is usually correct).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on my work-life balance, widening my cooking repertoire (especially trying to develop towards vegetarianism), trying to bring more love into my life, playing roleplaying games and so on.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
* I genuinely care about other people's well being.
* I try not to judge. I usually succeed.
* I am very forgiving. I also never get angry (except on inanimate objects).
* I am fairly open minded.
* According to my sister I am good looking. I see no reason not to take her word for it, she's always struck me as a rather trustworthy person.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People have said that they notice that I seem booksmart. Which probably means that I come off as aloof. People also tend to ask me for directions or the time and the like, so I guess I come off as friendly and approachable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I've read a lot of fantasy novels in my days. Still read them occasionally. I also read books on subjects that interests me (currently I'm reading A History of World Societies).

When it comes to movies I like movies to be either fantastic entertainment (like Guardians of the Galaxy) or something that challenges me intellectually (like Training Day). I mostly watch the former when I get to choose myself, because if I want to understand reality I usually try to study reality.

Show wise I don't really watch a lot of shows (I guess watching shows myself isn't all that entertaining). I'm working myself through The Wire at the moment though.

Musicwise I am just as hard to pin down as most people. Disintegration and Black Celebration are probably my two favorite albums of all time but my favorite band of the last few years is the melodic death metal outfit Amon Amarth. Discussing music is way too big a topic for this format.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Depends on what you mean by "can't do without". After all, you can live without air for several seconds before you die. I've found that there isn't really anything I can't adapt to given time. I've also found that life with friends is supperior to life without friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Practical details of my life, online discussions I'm involved in, deeper reflections on where my life is heading, dreams of unexpectedly making it as a singer, what would happen if a loved one died in detail (which is a lot more neutral than it sounds), design of characters of current and future RPG campaigns and who knows what else.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...glad I can do what I want for two days straight. Though too often I wish I was to meet someone I really like instead of sitting at home alone. Maybe watch a movie, play a board game or visit a museum (neither of which are quite the same alone).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a virgin. I'm very comfortable with that fact, even though I wouldn't mind changing it.

I'm basically not a very secretive person.

* You're a great fan of [insert odd hobby here] and you're looking for someone who will love you for it.
