Whenever I do online surveys I tend to qualify as more introvert than 99 % of the population. Also, my only stated goal in my life is that I should one day finish Planescape: Torment (thought I suspect I ought to add "form a family" to it). And I love music.
What I’m doing with my life
I work full time, I'm trying to figure out how to have a life even though I work full time (it slowly gets better), I play tabletop roleplaying games with my friends, I play Football Manager and various cRPGs alone, I take care of my appartment.
I’m really good at
* I genuinely care about other people's well being.
* I try not to judge. I usually succeed.
* I am very forgiving. I also never get angry (except on inanimate objects).
* I am fairly open minded.
* According to my sister I am good looking. I see no reason not to take her word for it, she's always struck me as a rather trustworthy person.
The first things people usually notice about me
People have said that they notice that I seem booksmart. Which
probably means that I come off as aloof. People also tend to ask me
for directions or the time and the like, so I guess I come off as
friendly and approachable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
When I was younger I read a lot, mostly fantasy. Since I started university that's decreased dramatically though, for some reason.
When it comes to movies I like movies to be either fantastic entertainment (like Guardians of the Galaxy) or something that challenges me intellectually (like Training Day). I usually want the former, since I watch movies to relax.
Show wise I don't really watch a lot of shows (I guess watching shows myself isn't all that entertaining in relation to how much energy it takes).
Musicwise I am just as hard to pin down as most people. Disintegration by The Cure and Black Celebration by Depeche Mode are probably my two favorite albums of all time but my favorite band of the last few years is the melodic death metal outfit Amon Amarth.
The six things I could never do without
Depends on what you mean by "can't do without". After all, you can live without air for several seconds before you die. I've found that there isn't really anything I can't adapt to given time. I've also found that life with friends is supperior to life without friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Practical details of my life, online discussions I'm involved in or articles I read recently, deeper reflections on where my life is heading, dreams of unexpectedly making it as a singer, what would happen if a loved one died in detail (which is a lot more neutral than it sounds), design of characters of current and future RPG campaigns and who knows what else.
On a typical Friday night I am
...at home playing computer games. Though too often I wish I was to meet someone I really like instead of sitting at home alone. Maybe watch a movie, play a board game or visit a museum (neither of which are quite the same alone).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a virgin. I'm very comfortable with that fact, even though I wouldn't mind changing it.
I'm quite comfortable discussing myself.
You should message me if
* You're looking for someone who is altruistic and kind.
* You're looking for someone who forgives when others get
* You're looking for someone who reads up on subjects like
philosophy, psychology and economics for fun.
* You're looking for someone to play games with.
* You're a great fan of [insert odd hobby here] and you're looking
for someone who will love you for it.
* You feel like you have some other reason to message me. I don't
bite, so feel free.
