My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"Throw your dreams into space like a kite, and you do not know what it will bring back, a new life, a new friend, a new love, a new country."
- Anais Nin.

Greetings earth humans! Not 100% sure what to say... first and foremost being that I am funny, or at least that is what I have been told, I certainly like to make people laugh, you want to find your self laughing at a strange thing, get me started talking about something strange, I am sure there's a joke or two in their somewhere.
I'm a bit shy at first but once I warm up to some one, try and get me to shut up! Though I am an atheist, I don't have a problem with religious people, you don't try and convert me, I won't try and disprove you :-) In fact, if you are religiously inclined, please explain it to me, I find the whole subject to be quite confusing and in need of much clarification.
I like learning new things and talking about the things I learn. I also like to debate, not arguing, debate. Like who was the better Star Trek captain (I say it was Janeway).

INTJ is me.

"Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it."
- Bruce Lee.

If you want to know more, message me, or keep reading, in fact, keep reading then message me... in fact, why am I even including this rather meandering paragraph?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Short term (next year or two): I am currently going to college, majoring computer science.

Long term (next twenty or so years): Have a job as a computer programmer, a nice (not huge, but not tiny either) house, be married and have a kid or two. Oh, and possibly be living Maine (I like rain, and cold, my understanding is that Maine has those in spades).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Solving puzzles, which is one of the reason I want to be a programmer (like a puzzle in which you don't have a completely clear idea what it will look like). Fixing computers (puzzle again).
Whittling, which is on of the newer additions to my collection of hobbies.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm tall and have rather bad posture (though I am trying to fix that last bit).

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In geometric order:

My dogs.
My family.
My books.
My friends.
My computer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My various interests, people, my family, what to do next. And why, oh why, was Firefly canceled after only one season :(
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing computer games, watching tv, whittling, or otherwise doing something with my computer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not really a secret, just not something I feel like putting out there for all to see. If you're curious, ask :)
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have any questions, or saw something you liked/found interesting in my profile :-)

Oh, and if you do message me and I start going on and on about something to the point where it annoys you, let me know, I have a tendency to ramble when it comes to my various interests :P
Speaking of which, if you haven't had enough quotes by now:
"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."
-Lewis Carroll.
Still hadn't driven you nuts with them? Just let me know, I have hundreds!

Addendum: I feel the need to say that though I do want a relationship, I would like someone who could be my friend first :)

Addendum to the above another addendum: What I mean by that is that things should be taken slowly.

P.S. Also. And. If you wish to start a conversation but are unsure of what to say, just say 'hello', or something akin to that, odds are I will reply and we can go from there
