I am the nerd of nerds, full of passion, skill and probably antisocial tendencies. As a true tinkerer with a strong desire for learning new things, I live in a universe of my own thoughts and expression, often distracting me from the concerns of everyday issues. I toil away on my own projects and I often find myself having that single minded focus to achieve that next part, in hopes of making it all work. I enjoy the anticipation and the thought of an unexplored world opening up to me.

I have a strong interest in science and technology, both fictional and real. I enjoy Star Trek and the works of Carl Sagan. I am a redditor.

I am the software architect for a major financial software company on Wall Street. To reduce my commute to zero, I also live in an apartment on Wall Street. My free time is spent completing my own projects and learning new things.

Real artists ship. When I set out to learn a new thing, I like to prove to myself that I achieved the goal. That may mean passing a certification exam, winning a competition or posting the results of a software labor of love online for the world to scrutinize.

I tend to dress the same way every day. I own many of the same shirts and pants to save me the effort in the morning of deciding what to wear.

I usually watch a DVD on Friday night. Then, I get to bed early to maximize the time I have on the weekends to further my own projects.
