The fashion sense: why the hell is dressing well not understood in this village we live in?

You can beat this one to death & some, so I'll keep it simple with summations:

Books: anything John Fowles. Current event/geopolitical periodicals.
Music: Greg Dulli, Bill Evans, etc.
TV: Don't watch it - except for documentaries & international news outlets. Movies - of course, who doesn't watch a good film?
Food: Hmmm, where do I start? But, we are all products of our environment, so I'll pick rustic Italian!

Family -- I think this one is the ole prerequisite.
Real Friends -- who has time for fakes?
Non-touristic travel -- Guided tours have a purpose, but sheep travel makes me vomit.
Cuisine, coffee (espresso), & wine (Bordeauxs please!).
Intellectual pursuits & never settling.
And, lastly, attaining true freedom.

That's 7, but who is counting?

Ideas - ones that could change society, for the better, fascinate me. Yes, I am an idea person.

The halcyon days of living in Rome. I always used to say I'd end up there. I find, I still think all my roads will lead to that city eventually. Ah, you love/hate Rome!

My serious condition of wanderlust. Will it ever go away? I doubt it.

Usually out in town, a beverage in hand, & conversing with the local vagrants that troll this town.
