My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Tom,

I like to learn, and I love competition. I try to make that a quality, rather than something obnoxious and abrasive. The idea of becoming a better person interests me, so, in everything I do, I'm generally looking to learn something, to get better at something, and to develop myself.

I value reading and physical exercise; I find that my mental state reflects my physical state and I'm at my happiest when I'm exercising regularly. For that reason, I exercise six times a week, balancing cardio and resistance training. I don't do it to look better, I do it to feel better, and to be better. The aesthetics don't interest me, and I certainly don't "check in" at the gym on facebook.

I love meeting new people and seeing the world from other perspectives. I value empathy, understanding and acceptance. I value ambition, I value dreams and the pursuit of them. I love passion. No matter what you do, if you love doing it, if you live for it, it brings a smile to my face. From knitting to absailing to playing competitive sports to playing competitive video games, and everything between and outside of those things, passion is priceless and I love yours.

If you're on the outside looking in, I'd be glad to know you!

Filling the gaps with regular exercise, spending time with dear friends, and playing League of Legends.

I also have a fine-dining habit that my student budget cannot sustain.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting better! I pick things up pretty quickly whenever I get a new hobby because I'm lucky enough to be good at applying myself and learning in effective ways.

With that being said my moniker for League of Legends is "Modest", so this section is a contradiction in itself! I'm certainly not very good at League. Platinum life.

Preface: I like a lot of stuff and won't waste your time or lose your interest by listing them all. Lists are basically a big dick competition to see who can claim to like the most impressive/trendy media anyway. /cynic
