What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently a receptionist at a hair salon in Virginia Beach, VA. My plan is to move to Portland in the next year or so and the idea absolutely terrifies me, but I think a little fear just shakes things up. It'd be pretty sweet to have some friends there to show me the ropes!

On an unrelated note, I'm also working on a novel; 33,000 words so far!
I’m really good at
Coming up with sad storylines, belting swing music in my car and making playlists.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know. You tell me? (:
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have kind of a soft spot for coming-of-age indie films and I love stories that make me cry. Stuck In Love, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, An American Crime, Fight Club, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, The Kids Are Alright, The Harry Potter series, The Runaways, The Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, It's Complicated, It's Kind of a Funny Story.

I'm just going to list albums that have influenced me the most;
The Con by Tegan and Sara
Finally We Are No One by múm
White Lighter by Typhoon
The Perks of Being a Wallflower Original Score by Michael Brook
White Crosses by Against Me!
Walk The Moon by Walk The Moon
Pedestrian Voice by Frightened Rabbit

Reading is kind of a new passion of mine. I used to think I hated it, but then I read The Perks of Being a Wallflower and I decided that I'd just been reading the wrong things. Since then, I've read Paper Towns and The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, and How They Met & Other Stories by David Levithan. I'm currently reading Black Moon by Kenneth Calhoun.

Like I said, I get way into TV shows, but I'm also very picky. The few I watch/have watched are Glee, American Horror Story, Grey's Anatomy, The United States of Tara and How I Met Your Mother. My friends tell me I'm Ted Mosby.
