My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Eric. I'm a Dharmabum from the Midwest. (Any Kerouac readers out there?) I love music with a passion that borders on stupid. If music was a candy, I'd eat. If it was beverage, I'd drink it. If it were a woman, well, I wouldn't be online writing this!!
I love art. Even create it from time to time. Life drawing with oils or charcoal. I play disc golf.Love reading books in coffee shops and going to shows.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
That depends on who you ask. My mother: Being perfect --My Brother: Squandering my potential. --My Therapist: Making progress --My pet Lizard: Paying too much for auto insurance. --My Rabi: Being a Shmitza! --My hairdresser: OMG! Using way too much product and not nearly enough conditioner. I mean, look at these split ends. Are you brushing your hair with a Brillo pad? And why all these colors? You have beautiful natural highlights and where are they hmm? Bleached out and covered in Manic Panic thats where! And dont get me started on....(so we wont) But if you ask me, I'd say coming together.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting a smile out of people!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes. And my smile. It says I'm sweet, loving, and I just put a whoopy cushion on your chair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
This could take a while, so I'll just list a few...

Books: Stephan Kings "Dark Tower"Series, Janet Evanivich's Stephanie Plum series, And anything by Neil Gaimen

Music: Bright Eyes, Nick Drake, Hooverphonic, Elliot Smith, The Kooks, Misfits, Breathe Owl Breathe (if you don't know them, buy all their albums right now..), Faith No More (especially the first album, and alittle trivia: the fish lived! :) Mazzy Star, Mason Jennings, Sublime, Modest Mouse, Morphine, G. Love, Tori Amos, I could go on for quite some
time. If I like you, I'll make you a compilation. That's music nerd love.
Tv: Eureka, Doctor Who (the new series, sorry old Who buffs.. 60's Doctor is just too hokey) Big Bang Theory, Chuck, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, iCarly (Yes, both kid shows, but what can I say, Nickelodeon makes some innovative, brilliant tv), Good Eats, Sherlock, Outnumbered
Movies: The Big Lebowski, Surfs up, A Midsummer Nights Dream, All Wes Anderson movies, Dressed To Kill (ok, its more a standup than movie, but Eddie Izzard is hilarious.)

Food: I love meat. So much I spell it Meeet! With no A and an extra E! Why? Cuz thats carnivore love baby. ;)
**Since I wrote this I have been exposed to some seriously good vegetarian cuisine, so in light of my new fondness for chlorophyll, I will be dropping the extra E and restoring the A in Meat. Thank you.**
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends. (I know! Cliche! but I have 3 best friends and they are very kick ass people) My iPod/iPhone, Disc golf, Coffee, Torch Lake, and my pug Roxy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about people alot. I try to figure out what makes people people. I think understanding myself and others can lead to a degree of inner peace. And in turn help me ease the discomfort of this human condition in the people I encounter as well. I'm not sure how far along that path I'll get, but what can ya do. Sometimes the destinations not as important as the journey. Oh, and music. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working unfortunately. :)
But on my days off I catch up on tv shows online, paint in cafes, chuck some discs, or just lay low and listen to tunes with my pug.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm afraid of Michael Bolton. What? Hes terrifying! Did a frightened hampster wonder down his throat, then panic?! I dont want to talk about it!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You think dorks are sexy. You like intellectual conversation over coffee. You are also afraid of Michael Bolton. (I know a great support group..we meet on Tuesdays) You want to have fun with a cool guy.
*Since its come up, I'm not actually Jewish. It just went with the joke. Its cool if you are though. And I havent colored my hair in awhile. Not sure if I can pull it off anymore, not as outwardly punk as I used to be. :)
