My Self-Summary

I am often described as being caring, philosophical, intelligent, calculated, calm, observant, and extremely patient. Fun, even crazy when the occasion calls. I believe I maintain a nice balance between being serious and joking. I can be totally light-mannered and playful when I feel like it and passionate and attentive any other time. I guess I'm really just a person you have to get to know. I'm somewhat interested in technology, pretty skilled with computers but I don't take it too seriously. I love to travel, I've been all around the US and to Germany. I would like to travel abroad again to China, Japan, etc. Anywhere really, I just like seeing new places. One very important thing to note about me is that I believe in finding the "right one"; meaningless short lived relationships do not appeal to me in the least.

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently a sophomore in college and plan to graduate in another three years. I am majoring in some form of engineering, though my mind has been running lots of different directions about what exactly I want my career to be. I have a passion to learn just about anything and everything. Contrary to me being an engineering major, I really have a fine appreciation for photography and art. I am also employed by my university and work 18-20 hours a week in addition to going to class but I am completely free on weekends.

I’m really good at

Not being self-centered or egotistical. As a rule, I put others before myself. Chivalry is definitely something that I believe in strongly. I really get unnerved when my friends "check out" girls to be honest. A lot of people say its dead but, I think that's just an excuse to act like an asshole.

books- Divine Comedy, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Paradise Lost, Bram Stoker, H.G Wells, C.S. Lewis, Thoreau, Goethe, Tolkien, H.P. Lovecraft, etc.
movies- gladiator, kingdom of heaven, the fountain, kill bill vol1-2, oldboy, boondock saints, the princess bride, fight club, the prestige, pan's labyrinth, v for vendetta, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, labyrinth, donnie darko, ghibli stuff (closet anime fan), disney stuff, seth rogen stuff, other funny stuff, and a shit ton more
music- I like really light stuff, ie sarah mclachlan-ish stuff, opera/orchestral, real metal, not numetal, however anything else is listenable- I dont complain
food-I actually enjoy cooking and like to cook my own food most of the time, pasta, chicken, potatoes, key lime pie, italian, chinese, mexican, w/e really, though I do try to make things healthy when I can

I have lived many different places growing up and I regret that I have not been able to preserve many of my friendships from the past. Guess this isnt private now though.
