Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A wise professor once told me that if you stick with something long
enough, devote enough of your life to it, you will eventually be
successful at that thing. Few words have shaped my adult life more
than those. Well, besides "liquor before beer" and "never shave
against the grains." I guess that's essentially my way of saying I
am doing what I love to do in life, and am a better, happier person
I have written, revised, started over, and rewritten this shit more
times than I can count, so rather than another tired attempt at
waxing poetic about how awesome I am, bullet points it is!!
-I'm a musician and teacher.
-Left Wing, freethinking fish-out-of-water in the great but
socially schizophrenic state of Texas.
-Love traveling. Last trip was to Colorado and New Mexico.
-I like cars. You may chalk that one up into my "guilty pleasures"
-I visit my family at least once a week. We are very close!
-I wanted to be a meteorologist as a kid. Or whatever it was that
Steve Irwin did. Doing either of those things still sounds pretty
cool to adult me though.
-Just bought a house!
-Looking for a serious relationship with someone I have a lot in
common with. Level-headedness, higher education, and the ability to
communicate thoughts and needs effectively are extremely important
to me! I value smarts over just about everything else. If you are
not able to communicate well verbally and/or nonverbally, alarm
bells go a-ringin' in my head. Jussayin. As I sit here...making up
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Practicing, performing, writing, teaching, and digging the hell out
of what I do. I play sax and write/arrange horn parts for a
funk/soul band (original music). I'm also a private saxophone
lesson instructor for several large school districts and am in the
process of amassing my mega studio, muahahaha!! Life for me
generally consists of late nights, even more early mornings, and
copious amounts of driving and Red Bull.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Answering a question with another question, guessing on quantities
of ingredients when cooking, the lost art of driving a manual.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Eyes. Or the unintentionally serious look on my face.

Shostakovich's 5th Symphony played by Chicago is absolutely
incredible and trumps anything else I could list here, but Sigur

teenager "rock". Get off my lawn kids!
Mahi-mahi, grilled and lightly seasoned, drizzled with freshly
squeezed lemon and served over a bed of wild rice. Add a bottle of
two-year-old Sauvignon blanc. Seriously though, I'll eat just about
anything. No mayonnaise though! Nope nope nope CAN'T handle it.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Breaking the cosmic speed limit, how comforting thoughts trump

On a typical Friday night I am

playing at a fine music venue near you, but I like to keep up with
new movies that are showing on the occasional Friday night off. A

deep down, you always wanted someone to dedicate and perform a
tender and heartfelt jazz ballad a la John Coltrane circa 1963 to
you, because that's something I can handle.
Of course, meeting up and solving all the world's problems together
over a few drinks is always acceptable.
