Give me time...

I'm a designer at a product design consultancy, doing my best to create objects that solve problems for people.

I've been in Texas for a couple years now. I grew up in North Carolina and don't plan to leave Austin any time soon, I'm truly in love with this city.

95% of the time, I don't fall off my bike 100% of the time. 1% of the time, I get hit by mini vans every time.

I like trying to get good at new things. In the past few years I've attempted to improve in music, photography, design, cooking, bicycling, and building/fixing things.

I'm good at roasting coffee beans, and then brewing the subsequent coffee.

Pressing the Windows key when my brain is pressing the Command key.

Books:
Non-fiction: design, art, photography, science/physics, psychology, cooking/food, biographies, finance, many other boring subjects.
Fiction: Humor, sci-fi, futurism, mystery... random.

Movies: Basically, see above.

Music: Progressive/experimental music, indie, metal, and more. I have to admit that I enjoy going to see dubstep DJs. That music, at volume, is addictive. Most anything but Pop-Country. Love Austin for all the great live bands and DJs.

Food: I rarely meet a plating I don't like. I run a food blog with a friend, always trying cooking/eating new things.

Grabbing drinks with friends on the East Side. Or at home trying my hand at cooking a dish I haven't tried before.
