I'm a
graphic
designer and sometimes
musician who kinda gave one up for the
other. I am almost always willing to
chat (unless I'm swamped with work) so
message me or send an IM my way.
I still love music but my chops have gotten rusty and I don't seem
to find the time to play my
sax much any more. I have always been a big
nerd, I love
tech and science. Not
necessarily the Bunsen burner, massive equation part of science,
more like the end result like crazy little robots that run around
Mars or cellular scaffolds that grow organs. I am a proud convert
to the cult of
Apple
and will never buy a PC as my primary system ever again. But, now
this profile makes me sound like some shallow tech obsessed kid
living in the basement. Truth is that I'm a well fairly rounded
individual who loves
camping, a good book or movie, meeting
new people and talking, boy do I like to talk. Odds are that if you
bring up a subject I'll have something to say about it.
I spend most of my free time working on design work for myself and
watching movies or TV on NetFlix. I have become very attached to my
netflix subscription, there are just so many new things to
watch.
I love to
cook and
usually come up with some really good stuff, and at least its
always edible. Well except for once but everyone got better after a
few days. ;)
I am studying
graphic design at the
Cleveland
Institute of Art. Still looking for that crazy bohemian art
girl that I was going to find and fall in love with. But that's
what college is I guess, nothing like what you thought it was going
to be like.
This summer I'll be interning with somebody somewhere and hopefully
will still make it to the Kerrville Folk Festival for the annual 18
day camp out hippie fest.
Listening to people, talking out problems, taking charge of a group
if need be, I can tie a mean knot, and I can be pretty convincing
at times.
It used to be my long hair. Now its probably the
beard/hair combo.
I enjoy
reading,
it doesn't really matter what. But I can't really say that I have
ever read a romance novel, or a western (other than Shane for
school) and I do read a lot of mystery and thriller books.

Ummmm....
mexican
food! I miss it so much when I am up north, and good Texas
Barbecue.
The essentials like food, water and shelter. I can do with out a
lot of things for a while at least.
The time that I get to spend with family and friends out at the
Kerrville Folk Festival
each
summer.
Good friends.
A comfy bed and good quilt.
Some way to entertain myself or keep myself occupied.
Connection to
world events.
The work that I should be doing.
The topic for my BFA thesis next year. Its never too soon to start
thinking about it.
Working on homework with my roommates. I need to get out more
often...
As for the not so typical Friday night I am at he bar having a few.
I don't drink much in my free time unless we make a night of it.
Its not that I don't like booze its just that I would prefer juice
or water most of the time.
And no matter what I am doing on a Friday there is probably a
little pot* involved somewhere. But that is the extent of my drug
use.
* what did you expect I am in
art school.
I always go after the ones who are not available.
If you live near the University Circle area and don't mind walking
places or car pooling since I don't have a car in Cleveland right
now. Or if you are just an interesting girl who wants to chat.
