My self-summary
Hey folks! My name is Mike, I'm 31 and I live in Denver. I'm originally from a small town in Texas between Houston and Galveston but have lived here for almost 8 years and I love it. I've lived all over though and have had many experiences. I'd write more but I really like dialogue. If you want to get to know me you should ask me some questions and let me tell you some stories.

Some words and phrases I think describe me are: introverted, self-disciplined, creative, eccentric, fortunate, musical, edgy, humble
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently back in college studying theatre. My GPA is very important to me so right now I spend a lot of time either at school or at home with my nose buried in a textbook. I balance all this schoolwork out at night hosting some of the best karaoke shows in town (imho,) its fun.

When I'm not studying or hosting (which is seriously like all the time) I like to ride around town on bikes, explore the urban environment, and hang out on the internet. I'll play a video game every once and a while.
I’m really good at
Somehow I can usually get somebody to laugh. I like getting people to look at things from a different perspective so I imagine I'm not too shabby at it.

I'm also passionate about the arts, especially things like performance and theater.
The first things people usually notice about me
I think I appear younger than I am. I've been told by some people that I remind them of Anthony Michael Hall from the Breakfast Club or more recently Macklemore (thrift shop song guy.)

Other than that its probably the blonde hair, green eyes, or thin frame.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like to read books by authors such as: Hunter S. Thompson, Douglas Adams, Terence Mckenna, Isaac Asimov, Chuck Palahniuk, and Aldous Huxley.

Some of my favorite movies include: Battle Royale, Beetlejuice, The Big Lebowski, Clerks, A Clockwork Orange, Enter the Void, Equilibrium, Freddy Got Fingered, Gummo, Happiness, Heavy Metal, Indiana Jones, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Star Wars, Super Troopers.

I don't watch much TV these days but I used to be a big Simpsons fan. Southpark is pretty funny too. I'm also a big fan of Vice documentaries.

As a DJ/KJ I'm constantly expanding my musical tastes so this is a tough question, but some artists I never get tired of listening to are: Ben Harper, the Bloodhound Gang, Bob Marley, Cake, The Cure, Daniel Johnston, Muse, Nirvana, Old 97's, Pearl Jam, The Presets, She Wants Revenge, The Slackers, Stone Temple Pilots, Sublime, Ween, Weezer, The White Stripes.

I like sushi and nachos, and I drink a ton of ginger beer.
The six things I could never do without
I'd play along and assume we're not talking about food, water and shelter, but then when I think about it, I could do without most everything else.

I think a better list would be six things it would really suck to lose.

1. Friends & Family
2. Music
3. A comfortable bed
4. the Internet
5. My vehicle or some way other than walking to get around
6. Some sort of phone or messaging device
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Trans-humanism stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hosting a show and/or studying, usually both.
