My self-summary
Actually, there's not much to say. Or maybe it's too much? I don't really know.

I love to read, I really do. There's nothing better than a good book sometimes.
I like a lot of very different types of music, but still I'm a major music geek.
Well, I tend to have a hard time describing myself, hehe.

I am me, myself, and I

What I’m doing with my life
trying to do my best at living like a normal person. I'm kind of bad at living as I'm expected to. Or as I'd expect to live.

Oh, I also study sociology. In case you were wondering.

I’m really good at
-talking nonsense. (No, really, I am.)
-getting into all kinds of trouble.
-procrastinating.

I also like to think (and am told) I'm good at writing.

The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm angry, sad or too serious - when I'm really not. I have no idea, why I leave that impression.
I believe it's called "chronic bitchface syndrome" :D

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oh, it's too difficult to choose one for each category :D
My favorite writers include (in quite random order) Vonnegut, Kerouac, Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, .S. Fitzgerald, Remarque, Pratchett,Palahniuk, H.P.Lovecraft ... but I'm pretty sure there's a lot more. Probably I read too much - if that's possible. Lately I've been quite a lot into books about different social issues.
Oh, and did I mention poetry?

I'm a fan of Tim Burton's movies (so unoriginal, I know). I also like some occasional Pedro Almadovar or Emir Kusturica.
No genres in particular actually, movies I like depend a lot on my mood.
However, action movies are not my cup of tea.

I'm also a crazy Doctor Who fan. Seriously.
Also obsessed with a (quite old) TV show called Twin Peaks. (Gotta love David Lynch!)

The music is also quite various, including some rockabilly, some psychobilly, some electronic styles (mostly the darker ones, but not only. Different electronic genres), some rock, dark cabaret, some classical music...but then again, the genre usually doesn't mean much to me. If I like it, I don't really care. It has to be special for some reason.

As for the food... I think I can proudly call myself a vegetarian. (not vegan though - maybe one day I'll be ready for that. )

I spend a lot of time thinking about
almost everything, really. Life, death, people - what they do and why they do it... Typical, I guess?
Actually, I think a lot about things I'm interested in (yes, the ones above count in).

I've been to a mental hospital. As a patient.
Does it scare you?
