I'm from Fordingbridge, Hampshire (near Salisbury) but my job situation means that I spend time in Birmingham, Salford and London.
I'm a bit of a nerd and I really like computers. I love programming (in Java mainly). I acquired a Raspberry Pi and was planning a project for it. I have now lost said Pi (me and tiny computers clearly don't get along. If you're a tiny computer don't bother messaging me).
Currently learning about electronics....just waiting until I electrocute myself. Watch this space...
I like gaming but I'm no expert, Assassin's Creed and Red Dead Redemption are my all time favourites. Also sorry to disappoint you but I'm no good at FPS games, I'm too slow and by the time I've loaded my gun I'm dead on the floor covered in blood. Also, the Disney 'Up' game - I couldn't get past the first level :/
I really like animals and I have two dogs, two cats (had three but one got fed nicer food elsewhere so left :P), two chickens and a duck.
...cat update: since writing this, cat #3 has reappeared. I now have three cats!
I caught the travel bug somewhere and can't get enough of it. I recently went volunteering in South Africa and it was just incredible. I'm desperate to go back there whenever I can get the time off, but there's so many other places I'd like to visit too.
I'd love to chat to some nice people on here, and maybe have some intellectual debate ;)
I'm not always the best at replying but I'll try my best so if you want to know more feel free to send a few lines to my inbox :)
I get a free degree with it too, which is also pretty awesome.
Making people laugh with my utter ridiculousness
I can sometimes have a bit of a dark sense of humour. If you can't take mildly offensive jokes then we probably aren't suited for each other :)
Movies- I love rom-coms. But I think that can be retributed by the fact I also love Marvel films and the Dark Knight trilogy. And Harry Potter (goes without saying really). I'll watch pretty much any genre of film to be completely honest.
Shows-Breaking Bad (MASSIVE FAN), The IT Crowd, The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, Fresh Meat, My Mad Fat Diary etc. I love British dramas and documentaries of all sorts too.
Music-You'd probably be surprised at how eclectic my music taste is. I love the ska punk/punk rock genre but then I also like 90s pop and some classical. My favourite artist of all time is Green Day. I've seen them five times and they're just epic.
Food-Difficult one. I love food but I must say you can never beat cereal for versatility.
A passion for learning
With my job at the moment it's highly likely I'll be on a train on a Friday night, so yeah thats a whole bag of laughs :P
