I would say I'm a thoughtful and compassionate guy straddling the line between nerdom and jockdom. I love chess, science and intellectualism just as much as I love watching hockey, playing sports and working out.

What I’m doing with my life
My life revolves around music and youth mentorship... usually at the same time! I teach drums for a living, play in several bands and put on a non-profit, alternative music festival in Maple Ridge. I work at a teen drop-in centre as well. I'm just getting involved in the Big Brothers program at this very moment. I also have business interests in Calgary so I try to balance all that grown-up-ness with hanging out with kids and playing drums when I'm home. Two very different worlds!
