My photos tend to include a musical instrument, it's true. Playing music is what I love to do most, and, by some stroke of luck, it's what I get paid to do!

East-coast born; mid-west raised. Well-traveled, well-read. Sound body, mind, & spirit. I'm the only one of my family in Colorado, but we're all close and I love being a big brother to my two sisters, and I'm especially thrilled to be a new uncle!

Proud and grateful that I don't have to take a job outside of playing music. During the week I work from home, teaching private lessons to students of all ages, and -- ok, hold on, don't get me wrong -- I'm not a starving artist! I keep my rates high, like premium high. I'm a happily self-employed man, meaning my time is my own and I have no boss. *Sorry to talk about $$$ but it matters, right? Quality of life.

I perform with several bands, in and out of state.

And .... I JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST HOUSE! Closed 4/30. The backyard has lots of space for gardening and a fire pit, and ... I finally get to inherit the family baby-grand piano. Can't wait to have a nice piano around :)

Meaningful conversation. I'm pretty good in the kitchen, and love to cook. Cleaning the house. Communicating complex things simply. Doing astrology and astronomy - yes, astrology, the real stuff, no horoscope columns. It's fascinating and trust me, it works! And it's really fun and interesting.
Navigation & directions, just plain remembering things, handling crises (common Scorpio feature), staying grounded when things get hairy.
Snowboarding. Well, I'm not *really* good, but I can keep up -sometimes :) Let's hit the blue runs!

Hazel eyes and full lips. My hair stays short these days, and I'm not the tallest guy at the gym -- not crazy short, just on the shorter side.

New York Times online. NPR. I've recently become an insatiable history buff. Society/culture podcasts ...

Singer-songwriter, rock n pop n blues, bluegrass, classical, jazz ... I play 'em all, love 'em all. Kinda bored by EDM though, I admit. Don't care if that makes me sound old.

Stewart and Colbert are national treasures. Watch 'em most mornings during breakfast, before I start seeing clients.

Downton Abbey has surprised me ... it's the history and costumes that I love. Also enjoyed House of Cards for the modern political intrigue.

Lord of the Rings movies bring me to tears ;) I think it's the score (soundtrack). Lol usually is.

My coffee is black and my bourbon neat.

I cook delicious, healthy meals (love leftovers!). At home I'm mostly gluten-free, but I'm good and flexible when out and about. I love Thai, Mexican, Phó, Sushi, the usual .... Hey where's the good BBQ in Denver? I grew up in Kansas City MO so the bar for BBQ is set high ...

Music, that's my job. Why people are the way they are (I have a non-music bachelor's degree from a major university that I can't say I've used; that's what happens when you get to make your living doing what you love instead).
