My self-summary
I am unabashedly a goofball with a penchant for all things creative. I am a geek with nerd tenancies, but I am also athletic. Brains are sexy. In addition to keeping active, and writing, I am a swim coach, group fitness instructor, and seeking more certifications in the fitness field.

I can't sit still, and I am drawn to those who, also, cannot sit still. When I am taking a break, I like watching films, reading, or or hanging out with friends. Once in a while, I'll play a video game if it strikes my fancy.

Honesty and trust are paramount.

People are often intimidated by my height, but I am very approachable and most of my friends would say I'm a big, huggable moose.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently, I work as a fitness instructor and swim coach for both age-group and masters swimmers. I am still studying to become a master fitness trainer, and hope to be a Lifeguard Instructor and a Triathlon Coach this year.

I am currently training for IronMan Boulder in August, 2014, and I have aspirations for several marathon swims over the course of next few years, including a swim from Long Beach to Catalina Island, and a swim across Flathead Lake in Montana (roughly 31 miles.) I'd love a try at the English Channel someday.
I’m really good at
Swimming, writing, making exquisite dry cappuccino foam, and taking decent pictures.
The first things people usually notice about me
My short stature. I was exiled from my homeland, where I was shortest amongst the giants. :P
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: House of leaves, Don Quixote, War oy the Worlds, Lamb, Life of Pi, The Alchemist, Celestine Prophesy, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, et al.

Movies: American Beauty, Rango, Being John Malcovich, Mary and Max, Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Big Lebowski, Signs, Fire in the Sky, The Red Violin, Capote -- to name a few. (I'm a film major...)

Tele: Family Guy, Lost, Southpark, Archer, Heroes, Jericho, Daily Show.

Music Tool, APC, Nine Inch Nails, Bjork, Alanis Morisette (Angry Alanis is better than new Alanis...), Imogen Heap, Anything with a good beat while I'm working out... Was raised on country, and I have no shame in admitting that I still listen to it, from time to time.

Foods: Currently, I am back on the paleo diet. When I'm not dieting (for sports and health reasons, not weight reasons...) I LOVE Japanese food, Indian, Thai, and Pumpkin Pie. Pho, Soba, and Ramen are great noodle dishes. I also like baba ghanoush and hummice. I love to explore different cuisines. :)
The six things I could never do without
1. My awesome family
2. My great friends
3. A good tale in mind
4. Something to do
5. Something to look forward to
6. A snowballs chance in hell :P
I spend a lot of time thinking about
plot-lines for stories... and the future.

Yeah... the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, doing a project, working out, or catching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have to keep some secrets, or I won't be so mysterious if we meet. **MUAHHHH HA HA HA!!**

Also, I can do an okay Morgan Freeman and Jimmy Stewart impression.
