Self summerization! I am a quiet and calm man. I am a nerd I guess! I am honest, thrifty, loyal and trustworthy. I'm the guy everyone comes running to to "fix" things, from feelings to broken bikes. I have lived my life being and doing my best for my family, but as things went, I now find myself doubting what I belived was right. I am 49, divorced for 5 years. I raised my sons,( Whom turned out to become young men I don't understand, nor recognize anymore). I have a wonderful 2 year old granddaughter, and I live for my Sundays with her. She's my wonderment.
I am optimistic about life as a whole, and I know that people are kind and generous at heart. I trust and hope.

I am quiet, secure, and happy

I bought my first "me" home last year. And I am enjoying working it into my idea of a home. I garden, like I paint, colorfully!! I have been struggling to learn the guitar, (the struggling part is to practise!).
I bought an old "Vstar 650" from a friend, and am learning to not kill myself on it. I still think training wheels would be a good idea. I enjoy the openness of it. I have a small convertable, but a bike really opens you up.(Did that just sound painful???).
I won't say I'm into "the coast", that's so, well, .... But I do enjoy travel and sightseeing and touring. I "putz" around a great deal. I like to get into things, I'm the curious type. And I enjoy other people. I can sit for hours and listen to a good story. (And I mean a good story, not you know, okay Edith?).

Being myself. Once I got thru puberty and just let myself "floe", I found that being me was something that just came naturally. This is a very surprising point of view to many, many people I have met in my life, whom even at this stage , are still struggling with this. Once I found the zone, well, the rest is my history. I cook a little too.
And I am not bashful about telling friends and family how I feel, things like I love them, appreciate them, admire them.

That I am hot damnd the sexiest frikkn hunk of flesh they have ever lusted after..... Seriously, I don't know. I am normal for a chubby, four eyed balding fellow! Maybe it's something comfortable, and an ease that they'll notice they feel with me. I don't "expect" anything in life except the sunrise and the sunset, everything in the middle is an adventure.

Books, Koontz, Dean, Sci-fi, history and history and history, if it's of interest, I'll read it.(Try "physics for dummies", very cool).
Movies, game for any, but I find I am partial to movies such as "The Red Violin, Dances with Wolves,Toy Story, Joy Luck Club and Star trek".
Music, anything except rap, and I hate to even have to concider that music.
Food, any and all except french cut string beans. Not on a train, not on a plane, not on a boat, I will not can not eat them...........

Life has shown me that I can do without all things, but not family, my granddaughter's laughter, my mother's voice, my son's hopes. I could never be nor want to go on without the inner tranquility and passion of being able to feel and empathise with others.

I'm a man.... thinking???? Huh, food....Bathroom....boobs.......tv....
I thought it was "unhealthy" to think about any one or two subjects alot.
Obcessive, compulsive. I think I've found another point of view to this particular section of one's profile.(Or, was everyone else aware and I'm just catching on)?

Pretty tired from the week! Honestly, something mild on friday night, like a movie or early dinner, I'm not the bar hopping party type, and not just because I'm "mature", never did that sort of thing and really don't feel I missed anything. More of the get up early on Saturday and mow the lawn type of guy, then go enjoy myself, although I must admit, I enjoy mowing!(But I don't think a lot about it, okay....)

I slept with a teddy bear until I was 12?!? That I still don't enjoy rollar coasters or clowns?? That I'm like a lot of people, and just want to be apprieciated.

Your balanced. That you know the past is the past. That you can relate to a man and not see your "evil ex". That you understand that the "two sides to a story" isn't a confession. That you don't have a little fuzzy dog that you use to transfer all your feelings and emotions to. That you are happy within yourself for who you are. Not looking to be "completed", but complimented. That you enjoy life and understand it's a gift and to be savored and cherished. And that your able to understand that the "little child" inside you, may be spending a little to much time outside.
