My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The most hilarious pickup line that I've seen on here so far...

"Girl, you're like my pinky toe...

I'm gonna bang you on every piece of furniture in my house."

A little about me...
I'm a classical musician, health nut, and an athletic and playful guy. I love what I do for a living, I have an amazing and resilient family, and wonderful friends all over the world. While I can be sarcastic, and sometimes goofy, I am a kindhearted person and a compassionate and non-judgmental listener.

For any fellow psychology geeks, I am an INTJ... but am very close to the middle of the spectrum for each of the 4 measurements. So, I'm balanced, but difficult to classify. Around some people I'm the life of the party. But, just as often, I sit back and observe. If you're an extrovert, and crave someone you can light up the town with, I'm probably not going to be that guy. I'd rather have a meaningful conversation with a small group of people, or one on one, than schmooze in a loud bar.

I am very health conscious and physically active. If you are too, we'll have that much more to talk about. I don't try to convert anybody, but if the words "cleanse" or "vegan" make you uncomfortable, we're probably better off as friends. I'm spiritual and scientific, an artist and a jock. I'm basically a walking contradiction.

My friends describe me as a strong, focused, loyal, playful, and affectionate guy who loves life. If you're up for some fun, if you know yourself, and if you'd like to meet up to see if we have a connection (romantic or just friends), I'd love to hear from you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a classical musician. I play the horn formerly known as French, and piano. My career brings me a lot of joy. It fulfills me, provides me with flexibility, balance, and endless learning opportunities...and it often allows me to travel on someone else's dime :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
sports, music, massages, playing nice with others, communicating, listening.

Too much to list. From Brahms, to Billy Joel, to Dave Brubeck, to U2... Most classic rock floats my boat. I love meeting people who can introduce me to music I'm not familiar with... though most country, rap, and death metal are kind of a stretch for me.

I eat raw fruits and veggies in quantities that most people would find absurd... mmmmm...(wipes drool)

I also really enjoy Indian, Thai, Ethiopean, Vegetarian Phở, and consider myself a foodie... just an extremely healthy one.

I eat Vegan, mostly fruit. It doesn't mean I'm opposed to trying non-vegan food sometimes. It's just something that I do and I think it's really important to bring up in this "getting to know you" phase. I'm a person who has enthusiasm and an open mind toward health and nutrition. My ideal partner would be open to sharing that with me on some level, regardless of how they choose to eat for themselves.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Love, music, fresh air, and good food. 6 is too many things to be unable to do without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
nutrition, health, music, running after Ultimate discs, sleeeeeeeeeep...

I wish that dating sites included a "level of happiness" box. I don't care how much you can make in a year, as long as you're an adult and can support yourself. Happiness is so much more important.

Also, I do my best to respond to every message in a friendly manner, regardless of my level of interest. I appreciate closure and compassion, for myself and for others. To you women who have received lewd comments merely for not being interested in a guy, I apologize on behalf of my gender. :) Not all of us guys are passive aggressive assholes.

I wish everyone the best of luck in their search.

You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message me if: watch this all the way through and laugh out loud at least twice. are motivated and inspired by something in your life, you are kind, warm, a music geek, workout junky, or someone who can carry on an intellectual conversation one minute, and act like a goofball the next.

We are less likely to be a good match if you are making a duck face in most of your pictures, if you can't wait until the next holiday bar crawl in your city/town, or the gist of your profile is, "I like to have fun, I like the beach." We all like to have fun, and most of us even like the beach. I hear all the time how most women long for us men to write messages containing something more creative than "Hey, you're hot". Please give us something to work with in your profile. Help us help you.
