I am in search of a proverbial "partner in crime". I am looking for a kind, compassionate person whom I can trust. You know like a life partner sort of gig. Now accepting applications! I have led a, shall we say, diverse sort of life up to this point. Overall I would say that I am a very intelligent, hard working, devoted, kind, creative individual. I am currently self employed again. For better or worse LOL! I am a high end landscape design/build company. I get to build some really cool things at times. I love what I do for a living!!!!! This is good, because it consumes all of my free time this time of year and forces me onto online dating forums!!! Anywhooo... I love to travel and have been to a fair number of places so far. I enjoy art, nature, being outdoors (Except when it is 100 degrees out! That just sucks!), I like animals and enjoy playing disc golf. I am also a unrepentant NPR "nerd". I enjoy following politics and world affairs. I am quite liberal. My life isn't led in the pursuit of material items. Don't get me wrong, having nice things is great. However that is not the most important thing in life, in my opinion. I don't really enjoy watching sports very much. I seem to have strayed from my roots in the last few years and I am trying to get back to "me". I just got out of a longish relationship recently, and am looking to get on with my life. This is where you come in (maybe). Not a legally binding phrase! LOL! So OK Cupid what do you have to offer?

Currently working my ass off! It has been 70-80 hours a week recently. I am looking to change that! We shall see! I am striving to achive my artistic goals through my work. It has been a bit challanging recently, to be honest! I mantain great hope however!

#1 books: Let's see.... Bukowski, Burroughs, Sedaris, Hubert Selby Jr., any of the Plan B books by Lester Brown. I love to read, but have no time for it this time of year.

#2 music: where to start? Bright Eyes, Iron and Wine, Atmosphere, Mac Lethal, Sia Fuler/Zero 7, John Lee Hooker, J 5, Greg Brown, The Eels, Basement Jaxx, Morphine, NIN, TV ON The Radio, PJ Harvey, Ani Difranco, Janes Addiction, Afro-blues, some world music, Buddy Guy, Beck, Old 97's, Tool, the Reverend Horton Heat. The list could go on forever! No newer county though!!!! Don't contact me if you think your tractor is sexxy!!! Really I mean it!!!!!

#3 movies: I tend to prefer the more twisted out there sort of movies. You know something that actually makes you think instead of wasting 2 hours of your life. Such as Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, American Beauty, Requiem for a dream, that sort of thing.

#4 Food: I love to try new things. I have yet to try a type of food that I didn't at least like/love one aspect of. Although I did go to the Philippines for a month and ate some things there that I wouldn't have normally considered "food" and liked it so who knows!
