My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking to step outside of my current social circle to meet some new people. I don't really know what to put here. I'm a regular guy with pretty simple tastes. I'm not very materialistic; I enjoy the little things in life, like hikes, bike rides (mountain or path/road), camp fires, walks or drives with no destination, BBQs and just spending time with friends. That's not to say that I don't enjoy the finer things in life; I just don't make my life all about acquiring them. I'd rather spend money on something memorable like a trip to Europe than something that has an expensive brand name all over it.

I like to work with my hands whether it be fixing something or building something. I enjoy a movie or listening to music at night to relax. I'm not really into the bar/club scene. I like to be able to hear the people I'm out with. When I do go out for a drink its usually for 1 or 2 quality beers at a local brewery or somewhere quiet with few people.

I was blessed and cursed with the real sixth sense.... Common sense.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
What am I doing with my life? I'm figuring it out little by little, day by day and enjoying it.

I firmly believe in working to live and not living to work. You have to enjoy the little things and people around you to really live life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing/building stuff
Making playlists (90's jams are my specialty)
Loving other peoples dogs because I can't have one of my own in my apartment.
Being awkward when I first meet people... and sometimes after I get to know people too. It's all part of my unique charm.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Personality wise: I'm quiet and usually only say things that I've given thought to before opening my mouth.

Looks wise: I look angry or annoyed, my beard, and/or that I have some large tattoos. (I'm not actually annoyed or angry about 99.6% of the time)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My ipod ranges from Biggie and Tupac to Metallica, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Daft Punk and Tiesto. I tend to listen to classic rock and alternative. Recently I've been listening to Vanilla Ice radio on Pandora.... I not so secretly love 90's jams.

Favorite shows include, Sherlock (UK), Top Gear (UK), Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Luther, The Venture Brothers and Firefly.

Favorite books include: The Hobbit, Watchmen, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Art of War ...and most importantly, Calvin and Hobbes.

I'm a bit of a movie junkie so you'll need to specify a genre if want to know something specific. I have a soft spot for action movies, anything Hayao Miyazaki makes and I really like documentaries.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Aside from the normal things like friends, family, food, shelter etc; I could never live without the following:

A creative outlet
Mexican food (Good Mexican food, not taco bell)
intelligent design
good conversation
a mode of transportation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What my next tattoo should be.
The never-ending list of places I want to travel to.
What I really want to be when I grow up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Pretty much down for whatever. I usually keep it low key and go out with a friend or two to a quiet place for dinner or a drink or two. If no one is around for that, I'll stay in and listen to music or watch a movie and paint.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
