I am wicked, medically-inclined, and ambitious.

My Self-Summary

I seek a similar spirit who is laid-back and generally mellow. I welcome intelligent, clever, even disgusting sarcasm. I have a sick sense of humor. I enjoy debating political issues such as genocide or animal testing. When I'm not being the joyful light of the party, I just like to go dancing to loud, bass-full, dark music. (I'm a secret trance-head).

I really like voluptuous body-types, librarian-style eyeglasses, tattoos, creative piercings and hardcore music. I love strolling around random shops with new friends, it's one of the easiest ways of getting to know someone, especially when I drag you into a leather shop to gauge your reaction.

more random bits about me:
I love animals, especially cats. I probably spend too much money on sweet-smelling soap cakes and lotions and candles, but these are essential items in my world! I enjoy discussion on gender roles and how they can be bent and sometimes broken. I get turned on by your brains and ambition much more than your exterior. I think a good first date should include a trip to a bookstore because that always opens up lots of opportunities to see what a person is really interested in or curious about. I enjoy playing video games. I revel in my nerd-dom. It got me where I am today and I would never want to change that about myself.

I work in the health profession and none of my co-workers would ever dream to know what kind of person I truly am. Translation: they are all mundane and straight-edge worker bees and I am a fantastic freak with the ability to put on a professional facade. I have a face for work and many faces after I've clocked out. No, it's not a personality disorder, I've looked into it.

Some celebrity grrrls I would love to spend a night with are (in no particular order): Tori Amos, Helena Bonham Carter, Sheri Moon Zombie, Jennifer Tilly, Natasha Lyonne, Courtney Love, Rose McGowen, Tairrie B. from "My Ruin", Jessicka from "Scarling" and "Jack Off Jill", and Marilyn Manson cause he's such a great cross-dresser. Recently I have become handsomely attracted to Seth Rogan.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm working as a Registered Nurse on a neurovascular telemetry floor. I have my undergrad in psychology and intend on persuing my Master's in Nursing at University of Washington-Bothell. I have achieved my 8-year fantasy of relocating to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and so far am definitely enjoying all of its offerings. I can finally smell the ocean, hear the seagulls and see snow-capped mountains. I will reach a certain level of contentedness. I haven't laid down roots anywhere and I need to travel about to find that place, if it really exists. I am seriously considering registering with a travel agency so I can float around for a few years, raking in the cash and taking down names - we'll see. I enjoy pretty much anything if I have a view of the sea.

I love the right vibe at dark, seductive clubs where people are like-minded and possibly smoking cloves and sipping Jager while being treated to sexy beats while wearing black lace and tight leathers.

I’m really good at

musical and intellectual debates. I make a wickedly good Stuffed Shells dish. I speak extemporaneously and therefore invite overanalysis from most friends I make.

I love live theatre both behind the scenes and on the stage.

I'm great at seeing both sides of every story. I constantly remind others in times of crises that there are really three sides to every story - yours, mine and the truth.

I dig the sexy things grrls get to utilize, such as garter belts and thigh-high backseam stockings with heels that dare ankles to sprain and hemstrings to ache in the morning.

I'm great at suggesting mental exercises for people who find themselves with mental blocks.

I.V. sticks! Pharmacology! Patient education! Handling gruesome events!

I give great Tarot readings. I'm really good at using my psych knowledge for all my friends.

Oh, plus I'm SUPER at procrastination and intoxication.

When luck matches my skill I love me some Texas Hold'em poker.

The first things people usually notice about me

"Hmm, she's so quiet..."

I'm just not one for chit-chat. I can do it, sure, but I don't seek it out.

I can carry a conversation on about pretty much anything. I am one of those people who like to know at least a little bit about everything.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

(a) Poppy Z. Brite, Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Paluhniuk (I am currently ripping right through Snuff and am sad that I have a speed-reading tendency), Jeff Noon, Stephen King are some authors that come to mind. Any erotic vampyric lesbianic story gets me off for sure. Any gruesome detailed acts of crime are always of deep interest and make for nifty conversation pieces. This shouldn't scare anyone away, but I fear it might...

(b) Party Monster, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, GRINDHOUSE, Beetlejuice, Saved!, 40-Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad, Totally Awesome, Kickin' It Old Skool (HILARIOUS slapstick), Brokeback Mountain, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, The Dark Crystal, Jawbreaker, May, The Devil's Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses, OLDBOY, most Tartan Asia Extreme production releases, Friday, Next Friday, Friday After Next, The Dreamers, Ichi I, Donnie Darko, The Craft, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, The Butterfly Effect, Evil Dead I & II, Tetsuo: Iron Man, Less Than Zero, The Breakfast Club, The City of Lost Children, most anything w/ Bobcat or MacCauley or Chris Farley...

(c) Industrial/goth/darkwave/EBM mostly; HIV + (the BAND), Interlace, Jack Off Jill, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Korn, Perfecto remixes, The Faint, Velvet Acid Christ, Zeromancer, Das Ich, wumpscut, Bjork, die form, Prospero, Front 242, Frontline Assembly, Pneumatic Detach, God Module, Android Lust, Razed In Black ('specially remixes), Powder Pussy, Apoptygma Berzerk, cut.rate.box, E-Craft, Massiv in Mensch, L7, Scarling, M.Manson, Faith No More, ANYTHING Mike Patton does (Fantomas, tomahawk, Mr. Bungle, Peeping Tom, etc...), Tori muthafuc*in Amos, Paul D. Miller (aka DJ Spooky), Portishead, Le Tigre, Fiona Apple, Garbage, Ani Difranco, Rasputina, Sneaker Pimps, The Murmurs, The Postal Service, Death Cab For Cutie, Future Sound of London, William Control, new wave 80's stuff... Ultimately I think my all-time favorite is probably The Cure and I'm a total sucker for tribute and cover bands!

(d) Sushi (fave is Unagi and I luvluvluv real Wasabi), I prefer the sushi at Blowfish Sushi in San Francisco, they've got a fun anime theme going on in there, Italian, Greek or dim sum for dinner. After dark munchies consist of Cheetos (Flamin' Hot please), Mr. Goodbar, Jelly Bellies (Kiwi + Pineapple + Coconut mmm!), stuff yr dentist tells you not to eat.

The six things I could never do without

1. Besides Maslow's Hierachy of Needs stuff, my best friend of 13+ years, on here as mindeyez.
2. My music collection, for it is vast and applicable to any mood.
3. The ability to remember and interpret my dreams.
4. My mother's generosity.
5. My cat, Cornbread and his cat, Marilyn Quinn Fistybunz.
6. An extreme sense of ambition; it is a lack of this quality that has separated me from many lovers in the past...

I spend a lot of time thinking about

...Politics. Semantics. Pancreas.

...invasive surgeries.

...girls, girls, girls

...sugary sweet things... pancakes with butter and syrup oh my...

...what's my cat doing right now? what is Mike Patton doing right now? what is [fill in the blank] doing right now?

...my pursuit of higher education.

...why I get so few hits on this site - Am I too opinionated or what?!

On a typical Friday night I am

changing my outfit for the evening on an average of three times. Fighting with garter belts is becoming a pasttime. Blasting industrial dance music while I strut about half-dressed debating which shoe goes better with the outfit...

After I've made it out the door, I'm usually meeting friends for drinks at the Rosebud, R Place, perhaps the cuff or the noc noc if dancing is on the list, and it is more often than not.

If it's a slow night (or a $broke$ night) then I stay indoors with one special friend for horror movies or cartoons and special covert operations.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I write poetry in my dreamstates.

You should message me if

you enjoy a WIDE variety of music and enjoy GETTING OUT of the house. If you love dancing and intoxication (although the intoxication part is not required), let's get to it!

You live anywhere on the West coast and want to make a new friend...

it's your destiny to get on a game show someday...
