My Self-Summary
I am 5'9" with blue eyes and brown hair. I have no kids but raised
two nephews and got them through school and on there own.
I am a long time Bronco fan and have been since '82. This is the only sport I watch and you don't have to worry about the T.V. being monopolized. Well, except for Monday nights when I've gotta watch "24". Oh yea, and I like "Family Guy" too. Come to think of it, I do watch a lot of T.V.!
I was married for 17 years and have been alone now for a year and a half after leaving my ex-wife. She started doing drugs and when I asked her to choose, she did... and now I am here to meet you!

What I’m doing with my life
Right now I take care of my elderly father. He is very independent
but I keep him active going out to the casinos and stores.
I was a truck driver for awhile. It was okay but it was lonely being out there for so long. I have damaged my knees and now I am trying to get disability but would be really happy to find a job I can do.
Just to update I got a job, YEAH and now I am just waiting for my background check (No I am not worried) and then I am back working. It sounds like a cool job and it is working with dissabled people. It looks like a way new direction I will be going in. It is kinda scary but being unemployed is real scary so I will take the lesser of the two evils.

I’m really good at
I love to cook and
enjoy making new foods and trying new dishes. I really like seeing
someone enjoy what I cook for them. I also spent a lot of time with
my mom in the kitchen and as a kid, I learned a lot about cooking
and mixing flavors. My favorite is making soup but I also make a
mean roast and do a pretty good BBQ, if I say so myself.

The first things people usually notice about me
I am very laid back and casual, not a jealous person. I am a bit
on the shy side but do enjoy meeting new people. I am a bit on the
heavy side but I have lost 10% of my total weight now since I found
I am pre-diabetic. The doctors told me I have caught it in time so
I wont be having to do the shots and I can get off the pills if my
weight keeps dropping.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite movie of all time is The Breakfast Club.
I always thought my favorite music was classic rock but now I really like alternative rock. On a side note, I listen to satellite radio and only to Opie and Anthony.
I love Italian food. Pasta of any kind is good at anytime in my book. Pizza has always been a favorite too.
Unfortunately I have just found out I am diabetic and I watch my diet. On the up side it has helped me lose weight and that's a good thing.
As far as my favorite books, that's a tough one. I like mystery / horror (Stephen King) and fantasy (Tolkien).

My Cat, Dumpster Diver. I found him as a kitten. He had been hit by a car and I thought he was dead. I nursed him to health, tamed him (he was very wild even as a kitten) and now he is mine.
My Computer. How else do I get to meet people on here?
My Plasma T.V. It is kinda a package deal to go with my Playstation 3. I really am a kid at heart.
And finally the hope that I will find someone to share the rest of my life with. Someone out there is looking for me.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about my life; what I have done and
what I would like to do with it. I also think about the choices I
have made. I know I am not breaking any new ground here because I
think most people do just that. I also have been spending time
wondering if I am ever going to find a job? Now I am going to think
about what I have written here, if it sounds good or bad, and if
people are reading all this stuff anyway. Hmmm, now that's a lot to
think about, isn't it?

Lately not much of anything. I would like to find someone to do
things with though. I would love to say I have all kinds of things
I do but that's just not the case. I enjoy going to the movies and

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
After my marriage broke up I have been quite alone. I have a lot of
love to give but it is so 'weird' being alone. I don't like being
this open to rejection and really am more comfortable in a
relationship.
