My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to think of myself as decent, considerate, well-educated and well rounded. I have traveled widely, lived on four continents, "experienced" different peoples and cultures, and speak a smattering of diverse languages. I love uninhibited intimacy, piquant foods, memorable fragrances, and generally good things in life. Anything that moves you, makes you happy and gives you goosebumps has got to be good, right? Funny thing: According to OKC my principal personality trait appears to be "more sex-driven." Lol. Gotta love candor!

Typically, in a partner, I'd like to find at least a modicum of sophistication, good taste, worldliness, confidence, sensuality, and a love of good food, adventure, discovery. I believe that mutual physical attraction, a shared sense of humor and what the French call 'complicity' are supremely important between a man and a woman for it all to mesh. What do you think?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it. Actually, I'm sinking my teeth into a startup and am totally jazzed about it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Intimacy, cooking, conversation.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My confidence and my optimism.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Well, rather than titles, I'll just rattle off names of some of my favorite authors: Turgenev, Kafka, Nabokov, Gunter Grass, Cervantes, Hesse, Bashevis Singer... As for food, I'm partial to spicy fare and happily buy into the old Hungarian saying, "Good paprika burns twice."
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good sex
Good food
Good conversation
Good books
Edgy art
Oh, oh, oh, and, numero siete, skate-skiing! If you're into this sport, my absolute favorite, we'd be like peas in a pod! Verdad!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I try not to think a great deal, at least not randomly, since I know that renowned German professor-cum-thinker Friedrich Nietzsche was branded a madman and institutionalized (you can actually tour his former quarters at Jena in former East Germany). And then there was Machiavelli, another big-time thinker and a real piece of work if ever there was one... In sharp contrast, cavemen had very little capacity for thought and were thus rewarded with short, simple and largely carefree lives.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...usually without any encumbrances. Quite honestly, though, I don't seem to have any 'typical Friday night': My Fridays, weekends and weekdays seem to fuse one into the other.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmmm, now that would be spilling the proverbial beans, no?

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you're irresistible;

you know the difference between "there" and "their," "you're" and "your," "loose" and "lose," "effect" and "affect," and such like...;

you don't interpret "activity partners" as going to the pumpkin patch with a guy to pick pumpkins;

you don't think "doggy" is just a furry, four-legged pet that barks, and are in your element sleeping naked.

If you're Jewish, Catholic or European with an accent, or speak at least a second language, that'd be a huge plus.

And finally, if you can laugh at all of the above and still want to hang, drop me a line: we could go to the moon and back!
