My self-summary
Active mind, body, imagination. Native NYCer living in Park Slope. Have worked as a high school history teacher, a produced screenwriter (of a dystopic sci-fi tale) living in Germany, a sculptor of bizarre creatures at a claymation studio and now an author (in 7 languages) of science/philosophy books. Straight-shooting, deep-thinking, culturally literate, worldly/world-traveled, adventurous/spontaneous, athletic, unconventional, considerate/conscientious--a proverbial nice guy with a bit of an edge.

Some of my interests include (in no particular order): Adventure seeking; theory/philosophy (my major); monkey business (my minor); bike riding/rollerblading through parks and streets--day or night; the surreal and absurd (in life and art); music/film (see below); long walks on the...(don't worry; I'm not going there); learning (and teaching) new words, concepts and skills; paradoxes; World/American history; roads less traveled; creative use of any environment (give me a stick, rock and water bottle, and I'll invent a game, make art or repair your engine with it); writing ("The 'God' Part of the Brain: A Scientific Interpretation of Human Spirituality" is one title); taking pictures/making digital art; following pop and indie culture; playing tennis/guitar; architecture/interior design/lighting; sensuality/eroticism; sneaking into places; bioluminescence; canoeing/kayaking; etymology; chess/board games; swinging from chandeliers (just checking to see if you're still with me); random treks by bike, foot or car…or hovercraft, if you happen to have one; stoop sales/flea markets/antique shops; documentaries; order; chocolate; chaos; carpentry/repairing stuff (if it's broke, I'll fix it); black licorice, strong coffee, tequila, grass....a fairly healthy lifestyle but mixed with junk food indulgences.

I've got an eclectic assemblage of mad skills...Let's just say that when the zombie apocalypse comes, I'm one of those guys you want on your side.
The first things people usually notice about me
My penetrating eyes, broad shoulders and the piece of broccoli caught between my teeth.

1) Self-Awareness
2) Laughter
3) Imagination
4) Adventure
5) Love
6) Lust
I spend a lot of time thinking about
man's place in the universe...that, and what you'd look like naked
On a typical Friday night I am
Home alone in my socks and underwear arranging my Hummel figurine collection.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a Cybernet C46 Series Android--please don't tell my manufacturer that I told you.

My sexual safeword is: antidisestablishmentarianism.

Rather than bend down, I often pick things up off the floor with my toes.
You should message me if
You're cool and fun.
