I'm very passionate about what I do (science/research), and tend to like other people who have managed to figure out something they genuinely like to do.

I believe that the people in my life come before career and I try my best to always act that way.

I want to be around my family way more than is the normal amount for most people. (Sadly most of them are back in my home town, Austin, TX).

I like words and conversations and people with lots of ideas... even really bad ones.

I like goofy smiles.

I have to be active to stay sane and there aren't any athletic/outdoorsy activities that I say no to.

I'm relatively messy

I can be somewhat forgetful

I probably won't make any respectable amount of money for quite a few years

Well that's all I can think of for now.

Currently I'm in graduate school, and I could see myself in the future as an educator at a small college or maybe even a high school. I half seriously talk often with my twin brother and our sister about opening and running a charter high school with them in the future.

Whatever I am in the middle of or about to eat. More than any particular genre or dish I am into diversity and changing it up.

Books are kinda the same for me... If I am still reading it, well then it's my favorite.

I try not to watch TV a ton, but there are a couple of really good shows I love, e.g. Dexter, Mad Men, Louie, Battlestar Gallactica.

I don't think that alignment on these things matters much in terms of getting along with someone else.

What it's all about. Other people's well being. My future. Lot's of things that may very well not "matter."

I find the voices of female NPR reporters to be strangely attractive.
