I have been living on and off in DC for the past 10 years. Originally from Texas, would love to find more time to travel and I still buy my music on CDs.

Very recently made the transition from winter beard to spring scruff.

I do the political thing - probably like everyone else in this town.

Trying to make the transition from campaigns to more "steady" work currently.

I love music and will listen to most anything, but do enjoy more indie-type acts (Arcade Fire, The National, Bon Iver, Foxygen, etc.). I go to many shows and sometimes travel to see a favorite band; took trips to Austin, NYC and Chicago to see shows this past year.

Read less than I would like, but am currently reading Phillip Roth's American Pastoral.

I can watch sports anytime. Almost any type really. And my DVR will generally have a glut of HBO/Showtime shows, or a recent Sunny or 30 Rock episode ready to go.

Usually game for any kind of food. Do love sushi, or a good dive bar. I will eat most anything, except beef and pork; gave them up many years ago.

I will usually hang out with friends at the local bar if I had to say what a typical Friday was like.

I usually sport a moustache for about a week or two when I have decided that winter beard must go, simply for the reaction of others.
