My self-summary
Tall, Welsh, and lazy.
What I’m doing with my life
Recently wrapped up a biomedical science degree at Manchester Met; took a particular interest in microbiology and infection control, so would like to do more of that kind of work in future. For now, who knows. Have relocated back to my native Cardiff and am looking forward to the periods of prolonged homelessness that are invariably coming my way. I currently sustain myself on a trickle of freelance work.

While in Manchester, I worked as a radio producer, a hospital volunteer, and a staff writer on a magazine. Prior to the move to Manchester, I worked in a bar for a long, long time.
I’m really good at
I don't know if I'm really good at anything. I can do a bunch of things (I draw a lot, dabble with music etc.) at an OK level, but I wouldn't say I've truly mastered anything besides lying down and playing Xbox.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my height. I don't exactly blend in anywhere. I make up for this by having a very loud voice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Time Machine Did It, Our Band Could Be Your Life, How I Escaped My Certain Fate, A Confederacy Of Dunces, Trainspotting, The Killing Joke, Heavier Than Heaven, Expert At The Card Table, The Bell Jar etc.

Good Films: The Sting, Fargo, Harvey, Dawn Of The Dead, A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon, most of Woody Allen's films, everything the Marx Brothers did, The Invisible Man, Black Dynamite, A Zed & Two Noughts.

Bad Films: Plan 9 From Outer Space, The Room, The Brain That Wouldn't Die, Space Mutiny, The Last Man On Earth, Puma Man, anything from Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Shows: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job!/Check It Out With Dr. Steve Brule, Breaking Bad, Louie, Superjail, Adventure Time, Beavis & Butthead, Daria, The Thick Of It, The Walking Dead.

Music: mclusky, The Smiths, Nirvana, Manic Street Preachers, Ryan Adams, At The Drive-In, Rocket From The Crypt, Elliott Smith, Say Anything, Every Time I Die, MF DOOM, Husker Du, Best Coast, Converge etc. etc.

Food: Bit of a heat freak. I'm one of those people that orders the hottest curry on the menu and then regrets it immediately.
The six things I could never do without
Budget energy drinks (of which I am quite the connoisseur)
iPhone
My bike

I think that's probably it. Anything more than that is just decadence.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
living in a lighthouse.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually at home, working on something that's taken my fancy (either a drawing project or some other awful thing), or down the pub/Chapter Arts.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I went through a brief phase when I was about fourteen when I thought it was cool to wear a denim jacket with a Papa Roach patch on it (and not a big one that took up the whole back, a little shitty one on the front). I would wear this over my school uniform, which was a bottle-green V-neck jumper with a sickly green-and-silver tie, and I seriously thought I was the coolest.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 20–30
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
you're still on the page after the Papa Roach denim jacket (which, incidentally, I'm 99% sure is still in my house somewhere, lurking, like a duffelbag full of asbestos). Or if you know where I can get a plastic vat full of acid to put it in, like a body in Breaking Bad.
