I'm very much myself, and I don't intend to change significantly,
aside from gaining more knowledge and experience. I can easily fill
a whole room just with myself, and on other days I like to hide
completely. I like to observe and learn.
I am determined, creative, and mostly friendly. I'm really good at
bad wordplay, and really bad at good bookkeeping. I can cook. I
don't care about stylish clothing or status symbols. I care a lot
about people being able to think for themselves.
If I were able to pick a role model for me, it would have been the
silverback gorilla: old and wise, protecting the innocent. In real
life however I'm much more the little monkey on the barrel organ,
mocking people on the street and collecting the money.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an animator and composer living in Berlin. I do graphics design
and other stuff for money, but prefer to work on films. Maybe I
start writing novels next year. I have busy times and lazy times,
with no specific schedule. However, I always look out for meeting
interesting people, preferably in a nice café.
I’m really good at
talking, teaching, problem solving, and imagining stuff.
Make others feel better.
The first things people usually notice about me
is general weirdness - in a good way, it makes most people curious.
Others just can't stand it - that's OK.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
tasty stuff, not too unhealthy. No "convenience food", microwave or
frozen. I like to cook.
Renaldo & the Loaf, The Residents, J.S.Bach, Amon Tobin, DJ
Krush, Burnt Friedman, Deadbeat, Tones on Tail, The Flying Lizards,
The Missing Brazilians, The Hypothetical Prophets, lots of 80's
stuff, lots of electronica, Space Age Pop, plunderphonics ... and
too many to mention here.
Yellow Submarine, Saraba Hakobune, Blade Runner, Drowning by
good animated shorts
Crime: Jörg Juretzka, Gisbert Haefs, Andrea Camilleri, David M.
Pierce, Jaques Berndorff

The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the next film, music, or text. There's always something going on in
my brain. I like daydreaming, and I'm able to use it for my work.
On a typical Friday night I am
either very busy, or lazy enough to meet with friends. Meeting can
be a problem when it's in a smoker's place, I can stand smoke only
for a limited amount of time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can't sleep when somebody is snoring.
You should message me if
- you score high in personality, humour, intelligence, and
knowledge, and cannot be mistaken for anybody else.
- you're a geekette
- you can goof around
- you like to meet and talk just for throwing ideas around
