What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a non-profit on the west side of Chicago. I've been there for almost 5 years as a program manager, and (most of the time) I love it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm going to go with glasses...though I really have no idea.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'll pick 5 of each, though they're not necessarily my absolute favorites...And I'll include one I'm enjoying currently.

I prefer authors over books: Murakami is my favorite, hands down, though I'm still struggling with 1Q84. Roald Dahl, Arundhati Roy, Christopher Moore. Just started Quiet by Susan Cain and I like it quite well thus far.

Movies: Up, Inception, Silver Linings Playbook, Little Miss Sunshine. Just saw The Fault in Our Stars for the second time and love it.

Shows: HIMYM, Orange is the New Black, Parks & Rec, House of Cards. 2 Broke Girls is my new favorite.

Music: Death Cab, Regina Spektor, The Weepies, Tegan and Sara. Fallen in love with Florence + The Machine as of late.

Food: Indian, Thai, Mexican, Veggie Restaurants, Ice Cream (always).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hate when people ring my doorbell. For some reason, it always makes me nervous! I prefer a knock - gentle, firm, any type, really.

I now realize this sounds like a terrible euphemism. I promise it's not! :)
