Like everyone I am trying to think of something to say that is witty, funny, and intriguing. Instead I will just be me. I am an independent, caring person who loves to travel and explore other cultures. (OK I promise no more Miss America speeches!) Two years ago I spent 7 months backpacking through Europe and Africa. I was home (Seattle) for two months when I moved to Arizona to help take care of my grandparents. During that period I realized I had to go back to school to fulfill my dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist. In my free time I ride my bike, participate in triathlons, volunteer, go to plays, and golf very poorly. I am an easy going person who enjoys laughing and living my life to the fullest. Helping those in need as well as my friends and family brings me inner peace and happiness.

I am NOT searching for Prince Charming. However, I am looking for someone who is above all else is honest, grounded and treats women with respect. Also, I would like to find a guy who can put up with my faults and may find them enduring (not that I am admitting to having any!)

Currently I am attend Grad School so I can help others live a fulfilling and independent life.....oops I forgot no Miss America speeches.

Reading other people's body language and enjoying life.

Let's state the obvious....they notice I am overweight. But if you spend the time to get to know me you will notice my green eyes and my caring heart.

Anything other than a text book.

I do love movies especially Chick Flicks but I am up for anything as long as it won't scare me.

As for music...I usually listen to the Oldies Station.

Food: my favorite is roasted marshmellows.....does that count as a food?
