I'm a California girl at heart but love NY immensely. Most of my time is spent working and/or hanging out with friends. I love to cook and entertain in general-- whether it be a small dinner party or an all-out themed bash.

I've been described as a bit of a foodie, though haven't explored the NY food scene to the extent that I would like.

I collect matches and socks with public transportation maps on them (I've only found 2 so far, so if you know of any others, I'd greatly appreciate you letting me know about them).

I have a tendency to use a lot of ellipses and parenthetical statements in my writing (see above) and like to read things that are inspiring. I also have a tendency to quote song lyrics as though they were gospel or break out into song mid-sentence. I know all the words to really bad 80s music (or not-so-bad 80s music). I still buy CDs even though the songs end up on my iPod and love making mix CDs (it's getting increasingly difficult to find tapes!).

I believe in celebrating everything-- from the major milestones to smaller achievements. I am the rememberer of birthdays and the perpetual planner of new and exciting ways to celebrate birthdays, promotions or Saturdays!

I love what I do for a living (for the most part) and wouldn't give it up for anything.
