My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am generally laid back and comfortable with myself (if a bit shy at first), but still seek opportunities for self improvement.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work a job that I enjoy. But, more than that, my job is the financial means facilitating those pursuits that I am most passionate about: food, activities with friends, and political/historical research and activism.

Of late, I’ve been taking cooking classes, going for long hikes, and generally seeking new experiences.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
…cooking.

I was trained (growing up) to know ingredients. I buy foods/ingredients I am unfamiliar with, use them according to a recipe, then play around with them. I like to learn potential uses.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite book of fiction is Shalom Auslander’s “Beware of God.” This book is quite funny.

I do not have a favorite non-fiction book, though I have read and enjoyed many. Of late I have been reading “Negroes and the Gun: The Black Tradition of Arms” by Nicholas Johnson and “Leftover Women” by Leta Hong Fincher.

My favorite band is Foxtails Brigade.

I do not have a singular favorite movie, television show, or food. Though the movies I saw most recently and enjoyed immensely are “Blue is the Warmest Color,” “Her," and “The Grand Budapest Hotel.”

My favorite radio program is The News Quiz, part of Friday Night Comedy on BBC Radio 4.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
…going to an event—such as live music—or hanging out with friends.
