Guide to the Galaxy
, the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett
anything by Philip K. Dick
, quite a bit by
(Neverwhere, American Gods, Good Omens,) some Neal Stephenson
Crash, Diamond Age, Anathem)
I recently started a personal challenge to read through the NPR Top
100 SciFi/Fantasy book list. I'm still in the 90s, but so far it's
been some interesting exposure to books I wouldn't normally have
picked up. I'm on Goodreads if you're interested in what I'm
currently reading and such.
, Fifth Element
, Clue, Dune
, Zardoz, Total Recall, a
lot of stuff really, a lot of bad movies
too, which are fun to
make fun of. I recently discovered the RiffTrax Live showings in
theaters and have been going to those, which have been awesome so
far (Starship Troopers, Night of the Living Dead)
Shows: QI, Doctor Who, Adventure Time, Supernatural, Venture Bros,
Robot Chicken, Sherlock, Elementary, Archer, Castle.
Music: This one is hard for me to nail down, as I'm not really into
music that much. I've been to a few concerts (Cake, TMBG, Flogging
Molly, Weird Al) and can rattle off some bands that tend to come up
on Pandora for me (Weezer, Greenday, Bowling for Soup, Rammstein)
but I'd be hard pressed to name genres or say anything intelligent
about what I listen to.
Food: Pretty much anything, though I was recently diagnosed
diabetic, and I'm still sort of adjusting my diet to the
requirements that go along with that.
