My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've moved around a lot and was kind of stuck in a pattern of moving every two years. I realized after awhile that every time you move you bring yourself with you, so escape is futile. With that bit of realization I have decided to settle in NYC under the belief that this is really the best city anyway.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at an art auction house where I am an editor for their magazine and blogs. I also write freelance about art, the art market, and music.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
bananagrams for some reason. I'm not good at scrabble, but I crush it at bananagrams. If you don't know what that is I don't blame you
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have very blue eyes. The lady at the grocery check out said they were azul de mar (which, if my memory from junior high spanish serves correct, means they are blue like the ocean). Why am I not dating her you ask? She was an old lady
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I mostly like to read non-fiction. I am an unabashed msnbc junky. Rachel Maddow and the Daily Show are pretty much must-see for me.

Tom Waits, Keith Jarrett, Beck, Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival, David Bromberg, Serge Gainsbourg, Punch Brothers, Tim O'Brien (if you know who that is we are probably soul mates), James Brown, etc....
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This American Life
Vegetarian Meat
Memory Foam Mattress
Comfortable Clothes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Going on little trips.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
getting more and more tired of crowded bars. I like to go out on weekdays and stay in on weekends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a vegetarian but somehow I have gotten into a drunken habit of eating filet o fish at mcdonalds
