My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am back in Philly after spending the summer living in a tent in the woods of NW Connecticut where I was working / learning on an organic farm. In addition to learning the basics of organic farming I also learned how to milk goats, make cheese, pickles, and jam.

I like to explore new places and learn new things
I like to walk around with no final destination
I love biking- it is my mode of transportation and self discovery
I like to bring my camera along for the journey
I like to read books and magazines outside on a nice day
I like that short period between seasons (summer into fall is my favorite)
I live at a co-op, shop at a co-op, and work at a co-op
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Playing pirates outside, making play-dough inside, painting with dirt, gluing with acorns, building a spaceship, and making apple cider All this and more with a bunch of 2-6 year olds.

I also volunteer with Neighborhood Bike Works' Earn a Bike Program. I teach (and learn) about bike repair with middle school students.

Also taking photos, writing books, knitting blankets, and baking bread.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Vegan cooking and baking (including my own Challah recipe)

starting a knitting group without knowing how to knit

assembling puppets out of things found around the house

exaggerating and embellishing real life stories to the point that they border fiction

keeping the USPS afloat with all the snail mail I send
The first things people usually notice about me

My long hair. I am growing it out to donate it. Thinking of cutting it soon, but have become attached to it. (more like it is attached to me)
