My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just a guy traveling through time minute to minute while still trying to figure things out. It has been said that I'm the nice guy among my friends. My sarcastic side sometimes overrides that.

I have no problem going out by myself to places like the movies.

Southern California native and Disneyland passholder.

A lot of my time these days seems to be spent trying to get my 3D printer to work. Technical difficulties are a pain.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm doing freelance work when it comes around while trying to find a more stable job.

I'm also trying to make some changes. Not the point out the elephant in my profile but I'm heavy. I'm starting to move towards correcting that though.

A couple years ago I got a degree in visual effects and digital media but I have noticed that the industry is in a bit of a downward spiral so I am looking for my exit. I'm trying to jump off at engineering now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Understanding how things work, driving, finding a simple solution to a complex problem, video games, and procrastination.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't really go around asking people what they first notice about me when I initially meet them. With that said, I assume my height and size which makes me come off as intimidating to some.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I have way too many "Art of" books for animation. I recently read the Odyssey series of scifi books which I enjoyed and I have been known to read the Dirk Pitt series by Clive Cussler. Also Harry Potter.

Movies: Hard to pick out favorites but I enjoy a variety of films from action to comedy. Big ones so far this year have been Mad Max: Fury Road, Kingsman, Jurassic World, and Inside Out. Also the Marvel Cinematic Universe films as well as Pixar and Disney animated films.

TV: Doctor Who, Sherlock, Agents of Shield, Warehouse 13, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Top Gear(Both UK and US versions), and Game of Thrones to name a few.

Music: It varies. I have a small thing for film scores. Besides that, I used to listen to just rock but I have opened up more over the past few years. Yes, that means I occasionally listen to Taylor Swift when she comes onto one of stations I listen to.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The flow of time
An empty box
A cat
A random number generator connected to a release valve...

You get a point if you get the reference from those last three.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Time. Space. Light. Sound. Matter. Machinery. Anything really.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It varies a little bit. The primary thing is getting together with my friends either to go out somewhere or play D&D. I just joined to try it out as I realized I would never hang out with them otherwise which is how things were last year.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
By some stroke of luck, Rob Minkoff, the director of Lion King among other films, invited me and a couple of others at an animation expo to discuss animation for a few hours over drinks and snacks. Not really private. Just really cool.
