I have been told that I am very charming, but it's usually on accident. I am a very open and honest in expressing my feelings about someone, and I love to give compliments. I have a good sense of humor, and I'm also a very caring guy. All of this probably comes off as charm, I suppose.

I am outgoing and friendly, and generally make friends pretty quickly. I can have a conversation with almost anyone, and love to meet new people. I’m not afraid to make a fool of myself, and love to laugh at myself. My philosophy is that life is too short to take yourself too seriously.

I like spending time outside, and love playing pretty much any sport. I also really enjoy watching professional sports, and Basketball and Football in particular. Other ways in which I am a stereotypical "guy" include a knack for making and fixing things, and finding joy in working on cars.

My friends consider me one of the most trustworthy and honest people they know, which is something I pride myself in. I'm looking for someone who shares the same value, as I think both giving trust and being trustworthy are extremely important in any relationship.

Even though I love to spend time outside, I also really enjoy spending time cuddling watching movies. I particularly like comedies. Some of the other things I enjoy doing include black and white print photography, playing board games, and spending time with friends. I also like spending time volunteering, and am currently a "Big Brother" with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, which is extraordinarily fulfilling and something I would recommend highly.

Both kids and dogs seem to love me, and the feeling is generally mutual. I like to think this says something good about me, since they say animals have a keener sense of someone’s true nature than people. However, I don't currently have either dogs or kids, though I would like both in the future (hopefully a dog in the near future).

I work at a university, and am also currently a student, working on getting an MBA and MS in Marketing. I have one Master's degree already, which is an MA in social sciences. Some people would say that getting my second and third Master’s makes me a masochist or glutton for punishment, but I prefer the term "lifelong learner."

Most things. Seriously, at the risk of sounding cocky, I am good at almost everything I put my hand to. I'm what people would call a jack of all trades.

I will read just about anything that is well written. I have recently been reading a lot of Christopher Moore's books. I also really like mysteries, and my nerdy secret pleasure is the Harry Potter books. I also really like reading nonfiction, and am particularly fascinated by books that explain people's behavior, like Freakonomics.

My favorite movies are generally comedies, though I will watch most anything that seems entertaining. Some of my top movies that come to mind include: Tommy Boy; Run Ronnie, Run; Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels; Super Troopers; and Superbad.

TV shows I enjoy include: The office, Dexter, Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development, The League, It's Always Sunny, Psych, and The Mentalist.

My taste in music is pretty eclectic, and I'll give pretty much anything a chance. I like going to see live music, both to hear bands I like and to discover new favorites. In general, I'm fairly adventurous and love trying new things, whether it is checking out a new hobby or a new type of cuisine.

While I like to try new food, and enjoy many different cuisines, my favorite foods include Thai, Italian, Indian, and Mexican. I am a pretty decent cook, though I usually work from a cookbook, and wish I was better at making the cuisines listed above. I have been told that I make the best guacamole ever.

2. Goals: I always need to feel like I'm working toward something.
3. A smartphone: realistically I could go without, but it helps me stay in touch with people I care about, and helps me stay organized.
4. Sports: again, I don't NEED them, but playing sports helps me stay active and gives me a positive outlet for my competitiveness.
5. Fresh water: may seem obvious, but water is my drink of choice.
6. A car: kind of superficial, but I like to work on cars and relying on public transportation in Denver is a hassle.
