I'm Katie! I'm originally from California, but have lived in AZ for a long time. (Go Dodgers!) I'm an elementary teacher and love what I do! I have two dogs that I can't live without. They keep me busy and brighten my day.
I'm a planner- I don't like when things are last minute, unless they're my ideas (hypocrite, I know). If you take the color quiz (we do it at work), I'm a green. Greens are a little more reserved and need time to process information. Sometimes I'm told one thing and hate the idea instantly and after two days of pondering, I jump on board. That's just how I work.
Random things about me: I'm very sarcastic. I HATE when people say "You did good," instead of "You did well." (If I correct you, sorry, it's the teacher in me.) I love white wine, especially Viognier! I don't drink beer, although I feel guys should. :) I love going to go to the batting cages. My bat and gloves are my pride and joy. I talk about my dogs like they're my kids. I'm a workaholic and need someone who can make me want to leave work to have fun.

I'm on my 3rd year teaching and plan to work for many more!

I love reading. On my time off, I usually complete a book within a few days--once I get into a good book, it's hard to put down! I love watching movies. I'll watch almost anything.

Favorite movies: Pitch Perfect, Crazy Stupid Love, John Q, Tommy Boy, The Proposal, Drumline, The Social Network, Inception, Wedding Crashers, 27 Dresses

The only TV shows I watch religiously are The Voice and The Bachelor/Bachelorette...and lots of HGTV. Other than that, I like all comedy shows- How I Met Your Mother reruns, Two and Half Men, Friends, That 70's Show, Big Bang Theory

I love to eat, but I'm pretty basic. I don't eat red meats (it started with watching Animal Cops and seeing how some cows and pigs were inhumanely killed and I just decided that I didn't need it and stopped eating it.) I still eat chicken and turkey though! My favorite food will always be pizza. I have a pretty good diet and like to be health-conscious, but I do have a soft spot for sugars.... :)
