My self-summary
Ugh, I'm always terrible at summaries. The knowledge about myself comes and goes when I need it to, but I'll give this a shot. I'm better at talking about myself in person because I like answering questions!
I grew up in a dinky conservative town in Indiana, somewhere not really worth mentioning. I went to a dinky conservative high school with dinky conservative students. I married my high school sweetheart after graduation and moved to Columbus ASAP. Now I'm living a cheerful life while attending CCAD for Illustration and Fine Arts. :)
Also, my sexuality is listed as bisexual, but I consider myself about 90% lesbian.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm mostly preoccupied with school and everything that involves it, but that's not a terrible thing. Actually, I love school and my classes. I wouldn't have it any other way. I model occasionally at CCAD and Columbus State for extra cash. I'm extending my feelers to figure out exactly what I'd like to do with myself after I graduate, so I'm experimenting with running a small craft business and doing art commissions. I'd like to be a well-rounded artist once I head out into the real world.
I’m really good at
drawing portraits and the human figure, but especially portraits. There's something mysterious and engaging about a human face and the psyche behind it. I prefer traditional media over digital. I also have an excellent grasp of color theory (I love color!). I also crochet and knit during my lecture classes because I always have to keep my hands busy. Busy busy busy.
The first things people usually notice about me
used to be my awesome rainbow hair, but now that's gone for a unruly pixie cut. I'm not sure what else people notice about me because I've never asked. Perhaps that I'm cute and very polite to everyone I meet? I guess you can judge that yourself?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oh god, I could take up an entire page talking about all of the books I love. I'm an avid reader, although not so much lately because I don't have time. I love literary classics, the occasionally well-written fantasy, Sherlock Holmes, Neal Stephenson, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, His Dark Materials, etc. to list of a few.
I don't watch movies very often, but when I do, they're animated films like Pixar or Dreamworks or thought-provoking psychological works like The Fountain. I do watch TV shows though. I love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls and Ed Edd n Eddy.
For music, I've got Imogen Heap, Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, The Paper Kites, C418, Phaeleh, Blackmill and lots more shuffling on my Pandora. I also like deadmau5, Pendulum and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs when I'm in the mood for something fun.
Food is simple: I love food. I can't live without it (dun dun chhh). Pasta is my favortie, and Taco Bell has become my staple "I'm hungry but I don't have time to cook" go-to. I love trying out new places though.
This whole category is something I could spend hours talking about since it makes up a rather large chunk of my life, but I won't bore anyone with an extended list.
The six things I could never do without
Food, water, sleep, oxygen...Wait, I guess those are a given already.
1. My husband, SiliconLifeform (that should be obvious, I hope).
2. Books! My mind rebels at stagnation.
3. Music, because I find it difficult to work productively without something pleasant playing in the background.
4. Paper or a similar drawing surface. I'd have no purpose as an artist if I didn't have something to put my ideas down onto.
5. Yarn. I can't stand simply twiddling my thumbs for an hour or even half an hour. If I'm in a waiting room, at a restaurant, on the bus, etc. I have one or two balls of yarn with me at all times.
6. Lists! I love lists. They keep me organized, help me focus and take some strain off the brain. I must be crazy, haha.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the future. I think that's a natural human past-time to think about the unknown. But I try to adopt the carpe diem approach: just concentrate on the here and now and what I have to do today, and tomorrow will come when it does. I also think about what I want to do after I graduate. I'd like to think I have endless possibilities, but...well, I guess I'll just have to see how it goes. :) I still have a few years until then.
On a typical Friday night I am
relaxing at home, good gracious. After a long week, I want nothing more than to change into my pajamas and relax on the couch, maybe play some video games, maybe do some personal projects I've been meaning to finish, the occasional chore that's been left undone for too long. Or homework. :I
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is that I'm hoping to find a nice female friend-with-benefits. It's a long ordeal that I won't describe here, but briefly this is a desire I've had for several years. But this should only be an encouragement, not a requirements. I'd really just like to find some friends as the starting point. :)
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like girls
  • Ages 18–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends, short-term dating, activity partners, casual sex
You should message me if
you're moderately intelligent. I'm not one to be overly picky, but your chances are greater if you demonstrate you have a brain connected to your body and you use it. Please don't send me one liners. I generally won't respond if you do.

If you are a female: I will most likely reply to your message. I already have a wonderful man in my life, but I'd like another half to the spectrum as just a friend or maybe something more.
If you are a male: You can message me anyway because I like casual chatting, but dear god, PLEASE DON'T MESSAGE ME TO SIMPLY HIT ON ME. I am not interested in relationship with men. Please don't message me thinking you're going to be the "special exception". I married that special exception, thank you, and I'm happy with my current situation.
