My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Positive-minded, spiritual, perceptive and somewhat intense, I am a man who thinks deeply and continuously seeks to improve himself and his world. I try to live an authentic life: That means honesty, above all, and saying what I mean with respect and kindness.
That doesn’t mean constant seriousness, though! I am healthy, happy and strong – blessed with youthfulness tempered by wisdom and experience.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I take responsibility for my own well being, so you won’t have to “complete” me. Likewise, I’d like my match to be whole and content in her own skin. That way, we draw together out of choice, not need.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Intimacy, Intuition, Spontaneity, Cooking, Organizing, Planning, Details, Covert Learning...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You’ll immediately notice that I’m bald – but as they say, grass doesn’t grow on a busy street. (Feel free to laugh at this particular state of affairs; I certainly do.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I’ve recently enjoyed some late 19th to early 20th-century self-improvement classics ("new thought” or “metaphysics"): “The Shack” rocked my world. “Why I Don’t Go to Church Anymore” freed me. “The China Study” showed me a new way to feel great.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Spiritual awareness, a great mind, freedom of choice, great health, self control and occasional to frequent solitude
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I want someone with whom I can enjoy the simple pleasures of companionship and connection. I want to have long, deep conversations about spirituality, self-improvement, music and whatever else a couple who is genuine and comfortable with each other might discuss over great coffee, wine or a fine pint of beer. We might wind that up with a pillow fight or a night cuddled on the couch watching a movie – or maybe we’ll just ham it up in the kitchen and have fun concocting meals.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having dinner out on the town? Watching a movie?
Occasionally going out with some of my co-workers or friends
Enjoying a nice glass of wine...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I just might dance in the morning while listening to music (with no one watching of course); love horseback riding and other cowboy-ish things; enjoy whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, ziplining, parasailing and skydiving, and hope to go hang-gliding and bungee-jumping someday (maybe with you). I have yet to swim with sharks in the literal sense, though I have done so figuratively at times. Generally, I try to balance mental exercise with physical pursuits – a healthful strategy for anyone. I eat mindfully too, choosing organic, vegetarian and vegan foods – not much animal protein.

By now, you know I’m hardly shallow – but I do admit that chemistry is imperative. Physical beauty to me has to do with how we respect our bodies and take care of whatever we’re given to work with; in the end, of course, true beauty radiates from the inside – which also requires TLC. When you love and appreciate who you are, it shows. A positive spirit can’t be hidden.
