My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've often been referred to as an old soul.

I try to be curious about most things and I try to be kind and interested in everyone I meet, but I often feel like I'm an observer rather than a participant. I enjoy meeting and spending time with people as well as going out and socializing even though I am, by nature, an introvert and need to recharge sometimes so I can come off as shy, but once I know someone I'm good with keeping a conversation going. I love going out, having some fun and making a fool of myself, but I also really like just spending some time with some good friends or close people and enjoying each others company. I find people can be weird, but I include myself in that too.

I'm really into theatre, especially theatre production. I stage managed for four years in college and fell in love with theatre and the stage. I've dabbled in writing plays myself and when the creativity strikes I like nothing more than sitting down and working on a story or play. I'm also very interested in psychology. I'm an INFJ and I find the Myers-Briggs to be fascinating, but I don't let it run my life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working a job in the non-profit sector that I enjoy. I'm a development assistant for a Jewish non-profit and even though I'm not Jewish, its very nice being able to work a job where I know I am helping people even if I'm a small cog in the big machine. I soon need to decided if I want to continue on this path and pursue a degree for the non-profit field. or return to school to pursue a MSW,

I plan to become more involved in theatre again even if I volunteer for it. I also really want to start traveling more. I went to South Korea for a few months last year and ever since I've been back I've really wanted to see more of the world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Finding hidden gems in thrift stores
-Asking questions. I love learning about people and things and I try to be constantly curious
-Thinking I'm a 5 star chef, when In all actuality I just like to experiment in the kitchen. I've made some pretty good stuff before though
-Creating video game characters from beads
-What I would do with my time if I didn't need to work, and how to get paid for that.
-Becoming lost in books
-Wandering aimlessly
-People watching and creating stories about that moment in their life
-Interstellar Hitchhiking
The first things people usually notice about me

I've been told that I have somewhat piercing blue eyes, but being that you have to be close to see that, I'd say they either notice the random "beatnik" walking down the street, or if I don't have a hat, then unintentionally reflecting the light into their eyes due to my shiny head.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My taste jumps genre quite often, but I can easily say that the Hitchhikers Guide "Trilogy" are my favorite books. I'm definitely a big Sci-fi, fantasy and horror fan, but lately I have been dabbling in some non-fiction authors like Hunter S. Thompson, Danny Wallace, and David Sedaris. I also like to describe myself as a mystery/P.I junky. I'm slowly trying to pick up more graphics novels and so far Transmetropolitan is my favorite.

I can't really say I have a favorite genre and I'm absolutely lost when it come to in-depth music discussions, but I love the music I love and I'm always open to more suggestions. I have a big soft spot for Jazz though. I'm currently enjoying MSI, Celldweller, Blue Stahli, Little People, Starbomb, Ninja Sex Party, Ratatat, Creature Feature, Dr. Steel, Mr. Scruff, and The Pillows

My tastes here are very similar to my taste in books, but I do have a guilty pleasure for b-movies and horror, bad or good. I also really like a good comedy, or movie that can really make you think. Some of my favorites are Shaun of the Dead, Coraline, The Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Wristcutters: A Love Story, MirrorMask, Donny Darko, The Wild Hunt, and Cabin in the Woods.

I'm really into anime, but I don't have cable so I miss a lot of what is currently on. Netflix has definitely given me some good shows to watch and I'm currently in the middle of Battlestar Galactica and loving it. I also really enjoy

I'll try pretty much anything, but the key to my heart when it come to food is definitely Ice-cream, pasta, and falafel. I also really enjoy Italian, Mexican, and some Asian foods, but I'm never one to say no to a good burger.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-My friends and those I care about
-Bad Movies
-Humor & Laughter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If we are alone in the universe or not?
Is there some sort of great creator?
Does fate exist?
What causes people to return as spirits/entities?
Why does my head become so shiny?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Spending some time with my close friends either playing some boardgames, table-top RPGs, or videos game, or all of us going on an impromptu adventure and seeing where the night takes us. I love going into the unknown and experiencing something new and its even better when you are with people you care about.

I've been really into table top games as of late since they are a great way to bring a group of people together. Lately we've been playing Space Alert, Smash up, Fiasco, Pandemic, Red Dragon Inn and a random assortment of table top RPG's.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have a small collection of stuffed animals and most have been purchased somewhat recently. These include, Kirby, Cthulhu, and two characters from a Korean cartoon.
