My self-summary
I love music, people, silence, noise, books, ponds, lakes, rivers, oceans and tide pools, as well as most puns.

I zone out sometimes, and I look to the side when I'm thinking about what to say.

I like to write ridiculous poems for people on Facebook for their birthdays.

I procrastinate by cleaning,
finding an excuse to walk around,
and singing and strumming until my fingers throb and my throat thcratches. hatches. batches. matches! I also like to rhyme.
What I’m doing with my life
I came from Boston to Pasadena this past fall to study intercultural studies and international development. I always hope that what I'm doing with my life involves developing friendships as deep as the Mariana trench, learning, and working at something meaningful.

Along with school, I'm a data analyst for a software company with non-profit clients. My office is my home, various cafés and occasionally the library. I love this about my job.

I'm still getting used to the abundant sunshine. One day it rained, and I was so happy I cried.
I’m really good at
recognizing faces and remembering where I've seen them.
singing while strumming.
crying.
drawing home-made birthday cards.
cooking chicken.
whistling very loudly.
determining the ripeness of avocados.
sitting and reading for long stretches.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have big eyes. I've been told I resemble Beaker the muppet...and Olive Oil. And River Tam.

Patty Griffin

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to communicate interdepartmentally
On a typical Friday night I am
Finding something free to do in Pasadena (or in LA if I feel very adventurous or if I have a buddy with a car), or watching movies, or reading...and reading...and reading for school.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm still kind of afraid of the dark.
