I am what, what, and what.

My Self-Summary

Hello world.

I am a perpetual student who makes too many mix tapes. I'm vegan and not as sober as I used to be, but I'm trying to get back to 100%. I ride my bike for fun and spend far too much time at the park, though I'd like to take more excursions to the woods. I am a primitivist by ideology, and tend to veer toward the radical side of things. I have a lot of bad tattoos and I write a lot of letters. I'm currently studying psychology and I love it.

I have a lot of strong opinions, but I'm not looking to push them on anyone. I'm open to discussion.

I am not really looking for anything more than friends at the moment. SORRY BOYZ.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently in my fifth attempt at college, but I think I will actually finish a semester this time! Whoa!

Also, playing Pokemon.

I’m really good at

I try really hard to be an open and honest communicator, and I think I do a pretty darn good job of it. I'm also good at listening, giving advice, and just generally helping people.

The first things people usually notice about me

Probably my gender and general physical appearance. That is such a boring answer, but this is such a stupid question that I'm comfortable with that.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Lists for the sake of making lists are exhausting.

Books:
pretentious list was pretentious. Last few reads:
Borderline Conditions and Pathological Narcissism by Otto Kernberg
SPK: Turn Illness into a Weapon (highly recommended!)
L' Etranger by Camus

Movies: August Underground's Mordum, A Hole in my Heart, Lilya 4-Ever, Funny Games, I Stand Alone, In My Skin, Irreversible, The Piano Teacher, Salo, Brazil

Music: The Mountain Goats, Husker Du, My Bloody Valentine, Orchid, Skywave, Jawbreaker, City of Caterpillar, Low, The Ergs

The six things I could never do without

nociception, gamma-aminobutyric acid, fun, bicycles, dopamine, friendship

I spend a lot of time thinking about

ways to better myself (does that sound self-helpy? Oooops!)
theories.
dicks.

On a typical Friday night I am

most likely out somewhere feeling uncomfortable or riding my bike or going to a show or staying in and reading a book. I don't really "do" the whole bar/club thing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am fairly crazy, and not in an endearing quirky, off-beat kind of way. I have some serious problems. Oooops!

You should message me if

you want to go on a bike ride.
you want to argue about something.
you want to watch disturbing films.
you're into knives and blood, in THAT kind of way. You know what I mean.
