I work a lot. I am a brewer for a local craft brewery. I also take a college class or two each semester in hopes of one day (someday soon) becoming an ASL translator.

Very few things, but I am decent at a lot of things. I want to try everything once, then learn how and why it works. I know a little about a lot of things and I have a vast understanding of why a lot of stuff is the way it is.

Oh damnit, I'll be honest; most people tell me their first impression of me is that I am an asshole. So I'm trying to work on that but I know that I can be semi-abrasive at times.

Books: Papillion by Henri Charriere; Men and Cartoons by Jonathan Lethem; Caio, America! by Beppe Severgnini; Peeling the Onion by Gunter Grass; Becoming Justice Blackmun by Linda Greenhouse; The Book of Illusions by Paul Auster and ANY of the Granta quarterlies.

Food: HOMEMADE anything. I can cook and I enjoy to cook. It'd be nice if you liked to bake, because I do not. If I eat out, I like Italian, sushi, and Thai. Well those are my top 3. I like GOOD food, not fast food, not cheap food. I also like to drink, beer. GOOD beer. I do not get drunk every day or every weekend. I just like to have a good beer with lunch or dinner.

On that note, I am pescitarian. I miss meat loaf most. It's only been 3 months or so and it would be nice to have a girl that has a similar lifestyle, although anything can be worked around.

Music: I worked at a local music venue in Oakland for 5 years. I know what I like and I know what I dislike. I would listen to a new cd even if I didn't like the bands last cd. I would hate the new cd of a band who's last cd I loved. As with everything else in this "box" I like GOOD music. I cannot convey what I think GOOD music is, because it might only be good to me.

Out. On a bike in San Jose. Art show in Alameda. Bars in Oakland. Brew pub in Berkeley. House party in San Francisco. Sometimes I over dress, usually I under dress. I have no problem getting home at 3am and watching recorded episodes of The Office/Family Guy/The Cleavland Show or whatever else is recorded on my TV.
