I am creative, relaxed, and kind.

My Self-Summary

I'm 21 and at uni at the moment, nearing the end of my first semester in Politics and International Studies. Before that I'd spent the last couple of years since highschool buying music equipment, playing in a band and working horrible, horrible jobs. When I get the opportunity I do a little bit of acting around the place. Nothing high profile of course but it's always fun.

So yeah I guess I'm a pretty nice, thoughtful kinda dude who likes reading, house parties, clubbing, checking out local bands, playing music, computer games (yeah full disclosure and everything) and going out for coffee or lunch with my buddies.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm just working and spending as much as I can on drum machines and synths, trying to start up some kind of noise/electronic group. I haven't really been focussing on it lately though cos I've been pretty busy.

I'm at uni now, working a little bit as well and trying to get used to having no money. I'm getting a bit more settled in though, managing to find time to have hobbies and see my friends more often.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Aldous Huxley's my favourite, he's written some awesome dystopian future fiction, clever satire and great essays on psychedelic drugs and music. I also really like Kafka, all the Bronte stuff, especially Wuthering Heights, Henry Miller, Vladimir Nabokov, Orwell, Hunter S. Thompson and Ray Bradbury. As for living authors I like Douglas Coupland, Steven King and I just read Nick Cave's novel which is suprisingly great. Since I'm a politics nerd I also read Chomsky and and other polsci stuff.

My music taste is pretty eclectic I guess, I like lots of old school punk and hardcore like dead kennedys and black flag or whatever, crazy indie music with real unique sounds like Sonic Youth, Animal Collective and Architecture In Helsinki, bit of depressing 80s stuff like the smiths and Pulp (are those guys 80s? I dunno) and oh yeah, electronic stuff; CSS, MIA, Santagold, Muscles, Peaches, Bjork. They're all good.

On a typical Friday night I am

Usually at a friend's place talking and drinking, sometimes at somebody's party or a shitty bar but increasingly at home writing essays.

you should message me if you kinda feel like it! I'm pretty cruisey chatting with strangers, it's something to do.
