My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey! I am off the market but still poke around here from time to time to help friends find dates.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Music and sound are my whole life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing electric bass, making people laugh, finding the good side of “bad” things, being a complete and total goofball, and listening. I'm a professional writer with a side of graphic design skills. I’m also a pretty good cook, though my repertoire could stand to be broadened a little.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm kinda short. Then they notice that I'm nice, can make them laugh, and am generally good-natured.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I am poorly read and consider it my greatest flaw. That said, my favorite author is likely H.P. Lovecraft. While I write for part of my living, I struggle with maintaining the focus required of long-form reading.

I can be a polite snob. I have a TV, but don’t watch TV shows, really. I like brainy movies and nature documentaries, particularly Carl Sagan’s “Cosmos.” On the other hand, sometimes I just wanna watch live Manowar footage on YouTube. For fiction I’m into the Cohen Bros, Stanley Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, David Fincher, George A. Romero, Wes Anderson…

Indian=king of food. I am one of those people that actually CAN eat the same thing every day and not get bored, if I like it that much.

Music: I go through phases, but electronic music seems to be my mainstay, which is a little strange considering I played in a country band for five years. I’m also a huge rock fan, generally leaning more toward the punkier end of the gamut, and carry a torch for the sonically strange; genre notwithstanding.

Favorites include The Cramps, Murder City Devils, Howlin' Wolf, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Johnny Cash, Misfits, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Rancid, Klaus Schultze, Calexico, Leonard Cohen, The Mermen, Federation X, Jerry Lee Lewis, Duane Eddy, Link Wray, Impala, Jason Webley, Neko Case, Black Eyes & Neckties, USS Horsewhip, Air, Alan Lomax Field Recordings, Danzig, Jandek, Reigning Sound, EARTH, Bruce Haack, Big Business, Portishead, and the work of Joe Meek.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Musical instrument(s)
Hooded sweatshirt
Supportive attitudes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What would Joe Meek do?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have equinophobia.

Also, legitimate testing suggests that I am both INTJ and ADHD.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You’re a creative type looking for someone to bounce ideas off of. I love helping people out with their art. Musicians, illustrators, photographers, digital artists, videographers, writers, web developers, etc.

You consider yourself someone with moxy.

You value balance, and recognize that “moderation in all things” includes moderation itself.

You find yourself appreciating things in a manner that people around you often don’t understand.
