I was born on the 4th of July in 1969, in case you were curious why I chose 69Firecracker for my profile name.

I'm a sugar and spice and....with a great sense of humor, silly at times, passionate, enthusiastic, has fun with double entendres or sexual innuendo but I can be serious when I need to be. A work in progress but aren't we all??

I'm a mom and I have full custody of my son but, I'm not looking for a Dad for my son...He's got a Dad.

Born in the Southern Willamette Valley (Eugene) and have lived in the Portland Metro area since 1994 ~ SE-PDX and now Beaverton. So Yeah definitely a NW Girl :) that wants to see the world and be someone's special someone in the world.

I like being outdoors as well as doing outdoor activities just as much as indoor activities. Going for walks thru Hoyt Arboretum and other nature area's is always a plus locally. I love the beach as well as the high desert, that's why I prefer living in the valley ~ I'm close to both. I like to go camping, going to the lakes, rivers and exploring when the weather is good and don't mind getting dirty if needed (a tomboy with girlish ways)...I love the water and sunny weather ~Remember, I'm born in the summer and am a water sign :)
I don't mind getting outside for my walk if the weather isn't great...I just prefer not to be in it if it's raining sideways unless I have a change of clothes, a warm fire/hot shower or someone to get me warmed back up with when I get back.

I've been working at the same place for the past eight years as Mechanical Drafter/Designer and training to be a PCB Librarian while raising my 13 yr old son and encouraging him to do his best in sports (football and lacrosse) and life.
I'm working on keeping myself healthy and continuing reduce my weight - I've lost 50 lbs so far and I love the results of how I feel and look to myself and others. ;)

Being affectionate I have a really good touch for giving massages, love to snuggle up and I love hugs and kissing. I'm good at baking treats like cookies, and don't do too bad at cooking a meal either I've been told ;-). I'm sure there are many things I do well I'm just not sure what they all are. I'm sure you'll could tell me after you get to know me...

My big brown eyes and my smile. I've been told my eyes sparkle when I'm very happy. I can be shy at first and then when I get to know you, you wonder why you thought I was shy.

Music: My music tastes varies~ Rock ~ Scorpions, AC/DC, Rush, 80's Rock, Orianthi, Sheryl Crow, Led Zeppelin... Newer Rock ~Nickelback, MXPX, Shinedown..., Blues ~ Joe Bonamassa, BB King, Robert Cray..., Pop (new and old) too many to list, some country, classical...open to give all music a try once.

Movies: I like a variety ~ All the Die Hard movies, Total Recall (new & old), Most John Cusack movies (Grosse Point Blank, Must love Dogs, 2012, Say Anything...), A Few Good Men, The Help, Money Ball, James Bond Movies (Daniel Craig and Sean Connery), John Wayne Movies, Clint Eastwood movies, Kid/Disney movies, Grownups, My Cousin Vinny, War Horse, Ground Hog Day and some of the mushy Hallmark movies.

TV Show's I like to watch on occasion:
Comedy ~Two Broke Girls, Big Bang Theory, Ridiculousness...
Drama ~NCIS and Mentalist...

Yes, this girl likes Sports: NFL(Go Packers)/College Football ( Ducks and Beavers), Blazers, March Madness, Triple Crown horse races, and the Olympics.

Food: Try about anything once food wise ~ Not a real spicy fan. Ginger and Wasabi/horseradish is the kind of heat I like in food. Some of my favorites foods are: Chinese, Thai, Sushi, Steaks, Italian, Mexican, Burgers/fries with a nice beer at McMenamins or a brew pub like that...

Coffee, my family and friends, love, giving and receiving affection, laughing and having a good time, good food, a home, a car and my job, fresh air, mobility of my body...all the basic's.

Finding that special someone, my work, my son/family and making sure I am moving forward in a positive and productive way in my life.

Most Friday nights I'm at home with my teenager, spending time with friends, or maybe you and I are meeting up for a nice evening together.

After being scammed by a guy this last spring on a different site. I have learned to see if the profile picture matches the man I'm very interested in and it's not a stolen picture of some other man. I still do trust and like men and I hope that my honesty doesn't scare you or turn you off from wanting to get to know me.
