I live by the philosophy of "I don't know"; however, this only
applies to abstract concepts, such as whether or not there is a
god. I'm witty, I can be funny, and I am extremely nice and caring.
In fact, I'm so nice that I get friend-zoned 75% of the time. I am
sick of it. I play the guitar, ukulele, piano, and sing. I do all
of those things poorly, but I love to compose my own songs when
inspiration hits. They usually turn out pretty good. Family is the
most important thing in my life. If I care about someone, they know
it. I hate, absolutely hate when I do something to hurt someone
else. Usually this happens when I am too honest or when I make a
joke that hurts them more than I think it will. I don't want anyone
to hate me unnecessarily. Finally, I want whoever is reading this
to know that in high school I was valedictorian (but not really -
feel free to inquire) and for my speech I began by doing part of
the soldier boy dance. I was never so scared in my life.
What I’m doing with my life
I am senior at Penn State majoring in history and minoring in
sociology. I plan to go to grad school, probably at Temple, for
education. If all goes according to plan, I will be a high school
history/social studies teacher, and I will be the best damn teacher
ever. I will not only teach kids history from a book, I will teach
them about life and how to be prepared for it.
But if I had my choice, I would live the life of an artist. My
friend and I have thrown some pretty good songs together, and we
think we have something. Right now it's still a hobby, because I am
trying ever so hard to keep my feet on the ground.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty good at playing hockey, writing, driving (haha),
composing and playing music, and making french toast. I'm average
at many other things, and I am not bad at anything I try. I like to
call myself a well-rounded individual in terms of talents.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why many job applications come with a list of questions that really
have nothing to do with the job, and especially why they ask the
same basic question in five or six different ways. Are they
checking my honesty? Are they that oblivious? What are the right
answers to these questions? If there are no right answers, what are
the more correct ones?
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends where I am living. At home I usually hang out with friends
or watch movies or do both. If I am at school I usually party with
a small group of friends or go with them to a dance club or bar.
I'm really not a huge party person, but I can hang.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That's a bit of a personal question. Ask to see if I'll answer. I'm
usually pretty open.
